Zimmerman verdict is in.

Quite a claim coming from the land down under. Have you ever even been to Florida?

Actually, A special report released by the Bureau of Justice Statistics, reveals that approximately 8,000 African Americans are murdered annually in the United States. This chilling figure is accompanied by another equally sobering fact, that 93% of these murders are in fact perpetrated by other blacks.

In response to President Obama’s decision to raise the profile of the Trayvon Martin case, T. Willard Fair, president of the Urban League of Greater Miami, recently said that the “the outrage should be about us killing each other, about black-on-black crime.”

Where is the outrage from prominent members of the African-American community? Where are the words of condemnation and sorrow from Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, or Rev. Al Sharpton, over the fact that members of their own communities are summarily executing each other? Critics believe that acknowledging the unfortunate, irrefutable statistical truth negates the left’s narrative about a black community selectively exploited and targeted by white racists.

Some might also argue that fanning the flames of racial discontent, especially in an election year, serves a useful and powerful campaign purpose.

the insanity from those leaders....what an embarrassment

someone needs to bitch slap that baby al sharpton...we all know he's a piece of shit. thank God, he has msnbc to whine and raise his personal wealth over this

NCAA gonna file some sort of law suit now, some racial thing.....

Lets waste more tax payer money

The only blacks that want anything to do with Sharpton are the ones who have accomplished nothing and keep blaming color rather than laziness and ignorance for why they have nothing.

The average every day person of color who has a job and family and a life that does not revolve around Rap stereotypes just roll their eyes at him and wish he would kick off.

ncaa is a private collegiate org, duh

but naacp is (in part) taxpayer funded, so you're sorta partially right on that point.

...Does Florida just have really shitty laws? ...

I have to say that following the case was hard, but it's much more nuanced than the original media narrative made it out to be...

Yeah, the law is pretty messed up, but the Zimmerman case is not at all nuanced.

The Fla law actually says you can instigate a conflict and can then use lethal force to defend yourself. All the rest was theater.

Innocent until PROVEN guilty and reasonable doubt....Gawd bless Murikuh!!!

Only because of your fucked up laws.

Any sane/ civilized country would not have let zimmy walk without some sort of punishment for being the instigator.

Even hockey players get an extra 2 mins for being an instigator.

May the USA continue to become a bigger shithole.

yes, because justice is perfect in civilized countries, right?

yes. In civilized countries if you stalk and kill someone you get in trouble, you don't become a national celebrity and hero.

who's a hero, exactly?

and the question was rhetorical. name me any country with a "better" justice system and i'll find fails within minutes.

justice is culturally subjective, and never perfect.

You forgot to chant USA, USA after your post.

People seem upset with the result. They should be upset with the prosecution (if they are so dismayed by the verdict). The judge and jury were stacked in their favor and they completely laid an egg. The system didn't fail. The attorneys did.

Right or wrong, the verdict was an accurate result based on the proceedings. Anything else would have been a shock.

yep, the Carp's are coming out of the pond scum ...

remember Shawna Forde?

oh right, she killed brown people.. thusly not important to you

Holly FUCK!

so you do not want, WHAT IS RIGHT! you just want to enable bad behavor and an overly aggressive and fucked up obama to take out and murder more people.

you are fucking insane. I realized that you were fucked up, but this post of yours takes the cake.

because of Xyz, we now must jail Zimmerman because of what happened to "Shawna Forde"

what the fuck is wrong with you?

and you forgot to back up your bullshit statement

My original statement is that even hockey players would get extra minutes on their penalty for instigating a fight. Because of your fucked up laws someone can stalk and kill someone then walk away free.

There is nothing to back up, fool.

Gotta love Zimmerman's brother's comment this morning....he's afraid vigilantes might come after his brother and take the law in their own hands.

Zimmerman needs to sue the US DOJ, Holder, and Obama. That's the only way we'll get all the facts as to the level of direct involvement the DOJ had in this whole thing.

A civil suit would make the DOJ come clean about its involvement, and the mainstream media would have a hard time spiking the story.
