Happy tuesday everyone! I hope the week is going well for each of you. :kiss::rose:

We adopted a rescue dog last night. I'm a little nervous about it. He peed in the house a few times last night. My kiddo and I are home today so we've taken him out several times and no accidents today. I just worry about being at work and him needing to go out. I think I will crate him tomorrow. He's a lab/weimraner mix (apparently). He's a strong boy so we're going to try one of those walking collars. We don't have a fenced yard so we are going to have to figure out the potty trips too. Maybe a tie down? If anyone has experience, I would appreciate any ideas you might have.

If you have any questions hun, please feel free to PM me. I use to admin a dog forum. I've also fostered a few dogs. I have all sorts of training tips.
 
Congrats, and nice work - adopting rescue dogs is very rewarding, as we have on it twice.

Like you, we had to train ours to go to the door, and once outside, where to go. I'd be glad to share a few of our experiences, should you want to know more, PM me.

I pass out while on the computer quite often, but usually it is via Skype while talking to Daddy. If I'm chatting, I usually say goodnight and log off. I guess I was a bit more tired last night than I thought. :eek:

Yes, I've had that happen as well.

And, that was a nice surprise! My boss just called to thank me for setting the liquor display last night. That was the only reason he called. It was surprising, seeing as he'll see me in 3 hours.
