Oh, my manager mentioned an open management position at another store. He said I should apply for it, but it's almost 2 hours away. *sigh*

Haha there is no such thing as not work hard at my job, unless 75% of the kids are away. But it was a good day. My feet and legs are killing me though. I guess that's what happens when I spend two weeks pretty much on the couch sick lol

A touch and go visit

The great room still silent and empty, the flourishing plants are watered first, after the bakers bag and a new jar of blueberry jam are placed by the fired up coffee perc.
Finally the familiar corner table is positioned correctly with it's chairs and the morning papers left, with a note to DD asking her to say hi to all the dear littles and daddys for me.
Holding the note for maybe a moment to long, before with the shake of a wet dog, he is back in the present and heading out into the brightness of a busy new day in prospect.
 
Heading into the Great Room- finding fresh coffee brewed and whispering a prayer of thanks to the coffee Gods and whichever loved Sister or Daddy was watching out for us. Grabbing my vanilla creamer and sipping the nectar while the instant oatmeal bubbles away in the microwave and the wheat bagel pops out of the toaster
 
*writes a message on the fridge telling all the Daddies and littles to have a great day as I toddle off to bed*
 
Passing the note from HS to Peaches with a smile as I pour a mug for myself and head for my corner seat to sip the nectar and enjoy the thriving garden.
