The best advise I would give, and this is by no means an original thought, is to look within yourself and find the thing that makes you the most happy. Whatever that may be, pursue it with passion and determination. Judging from your post, you are taking mainly about happiness which springs from having a direction and meaning to your life's work. Find that passion first. There are a million things one can do on this Earth, and there's certainly something out there waiting for you. Don't despair. And..it's not about the money, either. Money can do many, many things but it will not fill a that void you need filled. Take heart in knowing that there are thousands if not millions of people who are in the same rut as you. Be that guy who climbs his way out and listen to others say, "What he did was amazing! How can I do that?"

The single best piece of advice I can give you is the clichéd "follow your passion", because you'll bring the most energy and (in all likelihood) talent to something you're passionate about, which means that you'll probably do better at it and be happier, to boot.

When I was younger, I was reluctant to look for work in the area where I spent most of my recreational time, because I bought the idea that having to make a living from what you loved was likely to drain the joy from it.

Direction (at least for me) comes from desire. There is something I want so I set a goal that moves me in the direction of being able to get it.

Granted 30 is, well...30 but in terms of the game board even though it's a fair bit further along than 20 it isn't quite all the way around the turn to 40 (which neighborhood I occupy.)
Set your mind on something and let that get you moving. The next thing will be easier so pick something bigger.

All that being said, if you're having trouble with things like getting out of bed every day or just really basic stuff? Consider talking to someone other than a bunch of strangers about it. Certainly it's far from everyone but people who are depressed CAN'T do the stuff we're all talking about without help and if you need some help there's no reason in the world not to get it.
