Busy but productive. Getting ready for the long weekend crowds.

New starter tomorrow so will lose most of my morning.

It's raining! The BOM finally got the forecast right!
Unfortunately we're also in for gale-force winds today, which have already started to pick up.

Who watched the game? Seemed a little lackluster compared to other years.... still, it may improve in the next two.

Sadly, I slept very badly :(
Damn IBS playing up.
And who's the evil person who thought up FODMAP diets? My doc wants me to follow it, but it would mean I can only eat about 5 foods! Who the hell can live like that? I love food and cooking.... no way can I do that!

CadburyCat decided to bring a baby bird in and warm it by the fire.
Just spent 1/2 an hour trying to catch it so I could put it outside.
Still - she didn't injure it in any way, so all good.
The strange thing is, CadburyCat has learnt to catch them without making any noise from the three bells I have put on her! :eek:

Plans for today?

My sister has that too, but I don't think she's restricted to 5 foods....that's pants, like you said, how can you live like that!!

Today is an inside day. I have a few chores, then back to scanning about 3500 photos onto USB and sorting them onto disc.
It's cool - I am finding photos from my childhood that are bringing back awesome memories :)

Then, when I am finally finished, I will make up frames with a collage of prints for my Mum (in Perth) and Aunts (back in Vienna).

Long way to go though.... I only get a couple of hours here and there free to keep scanning.

Awesome!!!!! I need to do things like that for my Mother back in the UK :D
 
I literally had a mountain of leftover mashed potatoes from last night.... so I made savoury mince stuffed cheesy hash browns for dinner.
I am being drowned in compliments from the boys!
Feels good :eek:

Can't get into Origin any more. It just doesn't have the same atmosphere/

You guys need rain so badly!!! The bloody wind dries everything out again! We have the same problem. A nice drop and then a rotten bloody westerly sucks it dry. :mad:

Cats are amazing with bells. That whole slinking the muscles so the beels don't ring thing is amazing.
