Educator Roll Call

Hey!
This year will be my second year of teaching Kindergarten. Great to see a lot of educators on here!

Very excited for next year. Finally getting my own classroom as a co-physics/geometry and chemistry teacher! :)

I'm a certed secondary English/social studies teacher. I've been subbing, long and short-term, for about three and a half years now, looking for a full-time position. It's a rough market, but we teach because we love it and I can't imagine doing much else, though I may have to if this keeps up much longer.

Anyway, not meaning to be a downer. It's good to see so many dedicated educators here. Hope to get to know someone of you better.

Welcome everyone, it is good to see you all. Picking up an Alg 1 class this year to go along with Alg 2, Precal, and Physics.

I saw you were thinking about that, hopefully subbing now will be like grandparenting...you get to have fun, but give them back when they are bad! :D

Thought I'd weigh in. I've been an instructor at the University for almost two years.

Well, well, well...look what I found buried in my subscription list, ManOSafety! Surely there must be some more teachers/instructors/mentors/pervs out there who have already started their summer break or are about to start it! Let's see if we can re-boot this thread!

I'm still teaching preschool dance, for the record...our recital isn't until June 16th. Drinking in earnest and clothing optional days shall commence June 17th. :D

Middle School teacher...16 years thus far. Taught anything from 5th grade, 6th Grade (Math, Sc, SS) now moving on to 7th/8th Science starting next year.

The son of two educators here. Thanks for all that you do. I find it so sexy when women my age (24) tell me they're teachers. Major points.

Yay, my thread's been resurrected. I'm on summer vacation, been out of school for a week here!
