Evening all,

Hope all the mothers had a nice day. The florists were making a killing. The weather was also on the warm side Friday, Saturday and most of Sunday. Back to the normal stuff now for this time of year in Melbourne town.

I see we are still getting new people and Trisk is holding the thread together which of course deserves a :rose:
 
Well it's hump day but I'm just not feeling it... lack of a handy humpee maybe? :D

Yep. My teens are solid sleepers, too.

The youngest cherub is the biggest source of amusement atm, though. We have to make him go last for a shower, or no-one would get any hot water. He'll stay in there for as long as the hot water lasts! :rolleyes:

Mothers Day was great. High Tea with the cherubs and an adventure after. Just pointed the car in a direction we hadn't been before and drove. Ended up in the back of beyond on a river bank, chillin.
 
Morning aussies :)

Friday today - and I'm medicated to the eyeballs fighting a migraine. Best thing for me today is to sit down and do absolutely nothing that could possibly jiggle my head :(
I know, I know.... posting here won't be doing me any good either.... but I have been up for hours and am bored shitless.

Some good news though - the kidlet has finally been cleared for his operation
The cardio doc has given the surgeon some instructions re his heart while he's under anaesthetic, so finally we can have the nodes affected by lymphoma taken out, which will make a diff to his treatment regimen.

Anyone else planning to be up at 5-30am Sunday and Monday to watch the V8's in Austin?

If I can't get to where they're racing, no way can I just record to watch later! I think I may be addicted :) simply HAVE to watch!

Meds are making me a little unco - no driving or using sharp implements for me :eek:

Ex-Mandurah and Pilbara girl here :) Moved away when the place got too big.

Used to live in Halls Head - Yorrel Place.
Went back a few yrs ago and hardly recognised the place!

Solo fun definitely OUT. Whoever came up with the idea that an orgasm could help a headache was a complete bastard. Tried it once - and my head almost exploded.:(

You've never gone to the V8's? It's a great experience, if you're a bit of a rev-head :D
Put it on the bucket list....
