Better Muslims than gays around my kids

:biteme:

Sadly, I think my lectures will be part of the 'healthcare cut'. Contracts will probably be cut to 27 credit hours to avoid the health care law.

We could skip the drunk and get right to the breeder abuse and double the fun later.

You were working full-time at a university that doesn't provide health care benefits and is going to cut employees down to part-time in order to avoid having to provide them? I've never heard of a university or college like that. Or a high school like that. Or an elementary school like that.

Seriously, which university doesn't provide benefits for its full-time lecturers?

Community College, maybe. They use lecturers from the community at large that have lifetime skills in certain subjects. Just guessing. Don't really know.

Show me SAID "research"......

Its OK

I'll wait:rolleyes:

The authors found that children raised by lesbian mothers — whether the mother was partnered or single — scored very similarly to children raised by heterosexual parents on measures of development and social behavior. These findings were expected, the authors said; however, they were surprised to discover that children in lesbian homes scored higher than kids in straight families on some psychological measures of self-esteem and confidence, did better academically and were less likely to have behavioral problems, such as rule-breaking and aggression.

Research shows that overall, the children of same-sex couples are often more resilient and well-adjusted than the offspring of heterosexual couples. While some studies suggest similar academic achievement, other research shows that children reared by same-sex parents perform slightly better. When comparing heterosexual and gay parenting, children of gay couples fare just as well in areas of self-esteem, gender identity, and emotional health.
A new study suggests children of gay parents are not only psychologically healthy, but often appear to exhibit better social and academic adjustment and a significantly lower incidence of social problems than their peers.

Oh. Well I guess it wasn't so hypothetical after all.

How's that crow for breakfast, BB?

thats RESEARCH?

a CUNT STUDIES teacher finding good stuff about CUNT STUDIES

what BS!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Goldberg's interests include how a variety of contexts (e.g., gender, sexual orientation, social class, work-family variables) shape processes of development and mental health; and her research focuses on exploring parenthood, relationship quality, and well-being in diverse families (e.g., adoptive parent families, lesbian/gay parent families) in an effort to increase our understanding of family diversity.

we went thru this before

all the above

points to ONE "RESEARCH" report

and who did the research?

Abbie Goldberg, a psychologist at Clark University in Massachusetts who researches gay and lesbian parenting.

SOMEONE WITH A SKEWED AND VESTED INTEREST IN MAKING IT LOOK THAT WAY

meaningless

end of story!

So research shouldn't be done by researchers with an understanding of the field?

Also what I liked is a macro study, that is a study of a the body of research out there. It's the best and most valid research method and doesn't rely on any one piece of research - quite the opposite.

Edit: I linked at least two macro studies in there.

Actually none of my links refer to the research of Dr. Goldberg.

Who's Dr. Goldberg?

What Do You Expect Her To Find?

Why is that true? Sure, dishonest people with a vested interest in something might act unscientifically but unless you're holding out on us then there's nothing suggesting that the research reviews here are being dishonest.

A lot of this is just statistical analysis. Take kids from two different groups and use instruments to measure their social, psychological, and occupational functioning. Then repeat it every so often as they age. Compare the scores between the groups and there you have it.

another "study" author

Gartrell is the Principal Researcher for the US National Longitudinal Lesbian Family Study (NLLFS). The NLLFS follows lesbian mothers and their children who were conceived by donor insemination during the 1980s. The study, which was initiated by Gartrell in 1986, examines the social, psychological, and emotional development of the children as well as the dynamics of planned lesbian families. This is the longest-running and largest prospective investigation of lesbian mothers and their children in the United States.[6]

CUNT STUDIES PROS

meaningless:rolleyes:

You either have a microscopic penis, and your over compensating or your just extremely stupid.

the same flaw YOU find

whne someone posts a SEE n PEE and you scream RW RAG!:D

So you can't find any flaws in her research. You just don't like the results.

I slam RW "research" all the time because of its deeply flawed methodology designed to come to a predetermined outcome. "Conservative research" cited on Lit is never peer reviewed and relies upon the work of isolated ideologues with opaque methods... and an inevitable reliance on unscientific internet polls or email surveys where participants are self-selected instead of randomized, and are therefore are an unrepresentative group that causes instant invalidation of the entire project.

If you or others want to show me something valid then of course I'll acknowledge it regardless of the author.
