How do the gun grabbers live with themselves?

Question:

Who or What stopped Adam Lanza from killing more children?

"Authorities determined that Lanza reloaded frequently during the shootings, sometimes firing only fifteen rounds from a thirty-round magazine".

People with guns arrived on scene, and the mentally ill Lanza killed himself!

In case y'all haven't noticed Obama shits on this country whenever he thinks he can get away with it.

Where's that thread someone posted about Connecticut's gun control laws before the Sandy Hook tragedy?

What I don't understand is why anti-gun advocates "suddenly" act as if there's no existing gun control laws in place when something like this happens? You know, the laws that us legal gun owners abide by that others conveniently ignore. Then we're the ones attacked by the extreme liberal lefties while they ignore the real criminals that don't give a shit about any gun laws?

It's really quite simple. First a lot of the "laws" that exist in America are rather pointless, this is especially true on the East Coast. Either you make a federal law that can be enacted on the federal level or your mostly wasting time. When an hour drive in any direction gets you access to six different states you don't much care what your state says about anything.

Second, unfortunately the best way to get guns away from criminals is to get them away from everybody. What I don't get is why pro-gun people won't just stand there and admit that this is the price we pay for freedom and admit that they don't mind the cost.

Because most pro-gun people aren't out to destroy the world. We just want the ability to protect ourselves from the more violent criminal element. I grew up in a rural part of TN, where guns are used in various ways not even remotely connected w/massacres or gangland wars. I remember going to school when a lot of teens displayed guns on the racks in the cab of their unlocked trucks. And no one I knew thought of stealing them or killing everyone then.

It's the mentality of a naive, over dramatized, undisciplined, polite society that's brought us to this point.

You had mind reading powers in high school, & you're not a part of society now?

It's not a matter of wanting to destroy the world. IT's a matter of accepting the consequences of your actions. We could push for lots of trains and buses and cut way way back on car accidents and virtually eliminate drunk drivers but we prefer being able to come and go as we please. Every 15 minutes someone dies for that freedom. Accept it and move on.

As for the rest of your post it's mostly meaningless. I'm sure there are people who remember driving before you needed a license or who used to live in places where you could leave the doors unlocked and not worry about anybody sneaking in and stealing shit. That world died long ago.

You can name call but that's really all you got.

"Society" is quick to judge anyone and everyone with such extreme fickle narrow mindedness, the witch hunt mentality is usually pointed in the wrong direction.

You can't even get eat a burger in peace these days w/out some dumbass somewhere launching into a lecture on the cruelty of killing cows. Or you can't say a polite "How are you?" w/out getting someone's life story on all their troubles in return. Say "Bless You" when someone sneezes and there's always some moron that acts like it's a nuclear attack and God is responsible for all their problems.

The only one of those that is true is you can't ask what's up without someone dumping their life story on you and frankly you asked them for it. If you had half a mind you wouldn't ask questions you don't want the answers to.

Responsibility for my actions? WTF are you talking about? I'm not the one getting guns illegally and killing people. I accept that I'm responsible for what I do, NOT everyone else. Accept it and move on.

Do you vote for or against pro-gun control people?

No. It's just normal to say 'Hi' or 'What's up?'. We have to interact w/strangers every single day whether we like it or not. A simple 'Oh, I'm good' or "I've seen better days" will suffice. We all have our own problems that aren't that much different than anyone else. To unload on a friend or relative is normal and acceptable, but to blow up and go postal on strangers w/similar problems?

If I give you change for a dollar, I don't want a lecture on why you need it. Just take the change, say thanks, and move on.

I don't. I'll walk right past you and only give you the slightest nod of the head to let you know I did see you, and that's if I bother with that much. You asked. Suffer the consequences of your actions. Or to quote the military (until recently) Don't ask, Don't Tell. You asked.

The second part is kind of off topic but okay.

If you don't already know my stance on that, then you haven't been paying attention.

I do. That is your action. It has consequences. Live with them and stop complaining.

You're doing exactly what I was talking about.

And to be on your way of thinking: You mean you nodded your head?!?! That makes you responsible for all my problems and you just opened the door for me to unload all my ills on you! It's all your fault, EVERYTHING wrong in the world....it's all on you!

No dude, you haven't the slightest clue.

I never get people dumping on me unless I'm dumb enough to ask what's up. Which I only do if I'm terribly bored.

If it ever comes to the point where people take a nod as meaning they should dump on me I'll stop doing that. I've been known to take the long way through the office, or even the stairs up several flights to avoid getting stuck in an elevator or walking past someone who thinks that because you are within ear shot means you should help them with this or that.

You know what's causing your pain and you continue to do it.
