Which category to post in?

Hello all! This is my first time posting on the discussion board because I just discovered this wonderful writer's resource! I am currently part of the way through writing a story and I simply have no idea which category to post it in! The story has strong elements of non/con, though they don't appear until a few chapters in. It also has a touch of scifi which aren't super prevalent, but play a major role in the plot. It could possibly also be classified as BDSM (though its about forced slavery, and is obviously not consensual). I am desperately looking for some feedback from the wonderful readers on lit, but don't want to offend anyone by placing the story in the wrong category - I would prefer to be offensive all by myself!
Any advise is greatly appreciated, and if you need more information on the story, just let me know!

If it's a long, multi-part work, put it in Novels and Novellas (NN).

However, depending on what elements are prevalent in each chapter, you might get bounced around. I have a series that is spread across Erotic Couplings and Exhibitionism/Voyeurism. I had originally placed each one in EC, but the powers that be moved a couple to the EV category because that's what was most prevalent during those individual chapters.

NN is a catch-all, though; so if you post it to there they should all stay in the same cat.

Or so I believe. It's been a few years since I've posted, so some of my information may be outdated. I'm sure someone will point out if I am wrong.

If the Sci-Fi element is important to the plot, that category is an option as well ( better than Novels and Novellas, so far as readership numbers go )

The readers there won't balk at any of the other content you mentioned, while many of the "real world" categories may give you a hit for the sci-fi.

If the sci-fi elements don't make an appearance until later chapters, it's possible Laurel could recategorize them upon posting, though.

Thanks, but I agree with Darkniciad. There just aren't enough people looking into NN! I was thinking either Sci/Fi or Non/con, just wasn't sure if either group of readers were especially touchy about content.
And thanks Darkniciad, I hadn't realized that Laurel would re-categorize them if I'd put it in the wrong category! That must be tonnes of work for her! Anyway, thanks so much for your input guys! I can let you know when the story is posted, if you're interested?
Thanks,
