Umm umm French kissing I can do.

(My high school French was too long ago. Your gonna have to translate)

I was being cheeky, pointing out that your French needed some improvement.

I was being naughty suggesting we start with French kissing.

But you got that bit. ;)

All I want to know is where are the Immunity updates? Last one I saw was for January 30th.

BrettJ in Canada

My head is full of strange associations today.
I'm blaming Fire_Breeze's wretched ink blob psychology.

Your seven kisses made me think of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

:D A fun little musical.

Well, spent the day in Indianapolis. My daughter took home 3 gold medals for singing. :) We then darted home (as fast as one darts a 3 hour drive) and we got home about an hour and a half before Semi-formal started. I got her hair curled and she was out the door with her feller.

Last night, after they left, the spouse and I opted to go out for supper. A nice dinner at Applebees, and then I texted an old friend and we headed to her house and played cards until about 1:30 in the morning. And you all know how often I stay up that late --- NEVER! It was a great time and one I really needed.

Spouse's bonus check came in and not surprisingly it was a lot smaller than expected. But we did go out for supper and we'll buy tires, and pay off 1/2 of what we owe the in-laws. In June there is supposed to be the second scheduled one, which means it'll probably be here in September.

Congrats to the daughter on her 3 gold medals and congrats to you on getting her ready for the Semi-Formal.

Almost done with putting the fence posts in, got a stock tank in the field, and am placing an order later today to get dewormer and a horse first aid kit. Got someone lined up to bring the boys down here, haven't gotten a trailer for them yet but damn they're just a little pricey lol. Maybe later this year or next year, we'll see how the finances go. Fortunately the guy doing the hauling is a very reasonable price, just a bit more than renting a trailer and if you calculate in the cost of fuel probably cheaper.

Seeds came in this weekend, going to put in an order for onions and maybe a few other things, gotta get seeds started next weekend and get ready for the local supply stores to get their chick orders in. Supposed to start next week, hopefully they get the breeds I want else I'll be having to place an order and they have a 25 chick minimum order

Thanks!

My dad has chickens coming sometime in March. He's got his barns set up with lights/heaters/water/feeding stations. He's also got various plants on order, as well as seeds too.

The son has a concert this evening, so that's where we're headed later. He has to be there 2 hours before the performance.

Daughter #2 will be going to Argentina in June for a Mission Trip!!! Our church is covering 1/2 her cost, and her ticket is being purchased, and the folks in charge of the trip is allowing her to do a payment plan on paying them back. What a generous family. I'm excited and scared for her. :)

Red, that's wonderful to hear. And, it has to be scary for mom to see a child go so far away.

Congratulations to your daughter...and I am happy you had an enjoyable night out Red :D

Well, spent the day in Indianapolis ...

An eventful day Red.

I'm sorry the bonus check was small, but on the bright side you got one. :)
And you can use it to pay off stuff, buy essentials and have a nice dinner, which is always a good feeling.

Congratulations to your talented daughter!

Of course, what I want to know is who got home later, you or her? :D

Congratulations on your daughter Red :D

:kiss::rose:
Thanks!

What a cool opportunity for her! :D
It's amazing, something she's always wanted to do and something I knew I was not in a place to give her. The family buying her ticket is very generous and giving.

It is very scary! I am excited for her, but also trying not to think about it. lol She'll be leaving 2 days after she graduates high school! How freaky is that, it's like going from childhood to adulthood in one breath.

Congratulations to your daughter...and I am happy you had an enjoyable night out Red :D

Thanks! It was a very nice weekend all around.

The bonus check will put new tires on the SUV, which is very much a necessity. I've got an appointment this morning to have it done, so that's where I'll be heading eventually.

We all enjoyed some part of the bonus check, the truck gets the tires, the spouse and I went out for supper as a couple, and the whole family had dinner out after watching my son's music performance last night.

It was a music filled weekend. :D

Nice. :cattail:

Those are the special-memory ones aren't they?

Yes, it is. This weekend was just an overall wonderful one. :)

Today's tire day and clarinet lessons and of course grocery shopping, since I was way too busy to do it the last couple of days. I may get some writing done, we'll see.

I'm sitting in a motel room whiling away the hours until bed-time.
Which is probably quite soon.
I figure since the company has had my time since about 0500 this morning, I can have a few hours to myself this evening.
