I made a batch of pancakes this morning on that new skillet, they did not stick since I seasoned with lard and I even had a Gallon of 100% amber Vermont maple syrup on hand, made from N.Y. maple trees in the Adirondacks, Who knew cast iron cooking had so many recipes with a Dutch oven & skillet.

I am going to atempt baking in that skillet next.
