Are there any other people who get turned on by the idea of infidelity in its many forms, be it your partner cheating on you, you on them, both of you being allowed to sleep around, a cuckolding or cuckquean relationship, etc? A lot of people don't seem to be into it(understandably so) or don't like to admit it. Lately I myself have been into the idea of an open relationship where my girl and I are allowed to sleep around and then when we make love, tell each other about our infidelity. Maybe even having kept some secrets for awhile before telling the other(it being agreed upon/ok to do so). I know its kind of odd, but its a huge turnon for me.

Yeah, try telling your partner it's just a matter of semantics when they find out you've cheated on them. I'll have to make a mental note of that one in case I ever cross the line.

Whoa big fella! I think you were just being asked to clarify your post, as you asked about two separate and distinct things.

Infidelity implies cheating and having relations with another / others without your partners knowledge.
Open relationships, and having sex with others with your partner's knowledge is another kettle of fish altogether.

I think Edensgarden's posts were more a matter of "semantics". But you say tomato, I say lummox.

It's not odd at all, I too find it a huge turn on... Though I do find the concept of ACTUAL cheating a turn off, being with a woman that is really aroused and has the desire to be with another man I find extremely erotic...

The second half of your post suggests you have voyeuristic tendencies . . . perhaps that would make more sense in this situation than the word "infidelity" which tends to get people in an uproar. Anyway, I think I know what you're talking about. Would you want to be present/see it too or just hear about it? My current guy and I have talked about this. We're mostly talking about swinging. But it would be a turn-on for me either way--seeing and experiencing, or even hearing about it after the fact. However, ONLY if I was super secure in the relationship.
