I was listening to a sermon today and taking notes. When I go back to work I want to work on this with the kids. Making "I am" validation statements. I want to see what theirs are first..you know their inner "tapes" and then get them to change the negative ones into positives. Maybe start the day with them each day.

They were talking about different things in the sermon and one thing I wrote that I thought you would like and find semi ironic

"Nobody can beat you at being you" I'm going to also work on this specific one for not just myself but lil man. He is in a "winning/I beat you phase" and I really want him to get this message instead.

I don't know if they sell them where you're at, but I've seen some great toys made out of repurposed firehose. They aren't the prettiest or "cutest" things ever, but I have a friend who's young dog has needle-saws for teeth and those things hold up for MONTHS!!

The best toy I have found for my dogs was called a Kong. They all really enjoyed them and I found that they lasted for years. They are not cheap but worth it in the long run.

When I lived in downtown Chicago, one of my favorite study breaks while I was studying for my orals in December and January was to go out and walk down to Baskin Robbins for a sundae.

I am adding "Organizational Leadership" as a second major, and it hit me the other day that I will be listed as majoring in "ORL"

I told a friend this, and he said that I need to find something to minor in with the abbreviation "ANL" because I'm aces at that too.
