The DNC attacks and demonization of pro-life Americans has actually increased donations to pro-life groups to record levels.

Pro-lifers need to be slapped around until they start REPUDIATING people like Akin and Mourdoch.

in britland one of the biggest problems abortion clinics have is finding docs to perform them. in america the constant attack has made performing abortions into a heroic moral stance, whereas in britland it's just a job so young docs are choosing more glamorous branches of medicine.

our apathy is abortion's greatest enemy.

no restrictions on abortion in Canada

abortion rates are also lower than the US

abortion rates have also been declinging for 14 years

Apathy is not the problem. Women are actually DIVIDED on the issue.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/...s-wouldn-t-away-2012-150033424--election.html

In 2011, 59 percent of men and 56 percent of women said in a Gallup poll that abortion should be legal in no circumstances or only in a few.

Men and women are much more divided on the issue of war (women oppose military interventions) and the role of government (women are more wary of federal spending cuts) than on abortion.

i was talking about britland.

as a rule, nobody likes the idea of abortion, it's icky, distasteful and a little sad, but pretty much nobody is up in arms about it. it's just one of those things. a necessary evil.

You said "our apathy is abortion's greatest enemy". Is that true of England? If so then you have a bigger problem than a glamour issue. The market just doesn't want to pay a good rate for that. The demand for such doctors must be down, or women can't afford it. I'm not seeing how that's attributable to apathy.

Pass out more condoms and birth control pills. Germany has the problem pretty cinched up, as does Japan, see: their birth rates.

Women's reproductive rights were a losing issue for Rapepublicans this election. Go ahead and double down on it though.
