How did the Des Moines Register endorsement pan out for Hillary?
The Register's state poll just came out and has Obama at +5 in Iowa. Before they endorsed Romney they only had Obama at +2. Looks to me like they hurt the person they endorsed.

It was a little worse than that, actually: 379 Clinton, 159 Dole.
The numbers I'm posting are based on the current number of electors per State — what the count would be if the election were held today. The actual numbers at the time are a little different. I may go back and add those in later.
