Longing for my days of elaborate costumes... the Christmas Tree cutout with full on 9 volt battery powered lights poked through(thanks Dad). The Life size Box of Popcorn- a la Oven Range Box Painted to look just like a Movie Theater bag, real popcorn and all glued to the top.(And yes people tried to eat it!) Or even a Flowing Jellyfish by way of a dome umbrella with bubble wrap tentacles and purple glow lights.
What has been your favorite costume?

I dressed as a mime one year for Halloween...At the time I never considered the racial overtones to the costume choice...We'd watch a video on Marcel Marceau in class a month prior and I just thought it would be fun...I was ten at the time...Needless to say, another student found my costume offensive and made a huge deal about it...Seriously, I really never saw it that way, a little black girl in white face at school...Then again, I probably would have been offended if a white student had dressed in black face...Actually not before the incident, but after for sure...Of course I really do see those as two different things...maybe I shouldn't...It's so hard to be politically correct...
Actually, I think my best costume ever was slapping on a 'My Name Is...' sticker with 'God/Satan' written on it...
