Good point. There's definitely something way off about a bunch of Republican legislators who obviously know jack about pregnancy, rape, reproduction, birth control, abortion etc, wanting to control all these issues through the law. It's bad enough they have to voice their ignorance on women's issues to prove their morality.

I didn't even consider the 'political aspects' of this. To be clear (if anyone cares, or is interested), I'm not a Republican and I completely support a woman's right to choose. I don't know why, exactly, this is so intriguing for me, but it is....so I thought I'd ask.

Absolutely. This is somewhat of a Roleplay game that I play with my husband. We never had children because he is sterile and for the same reason, I have not had to take any kind of birth control measures for ages. Of course my fantasies about having sex with Brad Pitt always have a component of pregnancy risk in them but the fantasy isn’t ruined by my actually getting pregnant.
