Julius, the green lorikeet I rescued at the end of July, was released this morning :)
I love seeing animals and birds go back to the wild after I've helped them!

All hail, Julius! :D Rescued in the month named after him, I see. :)

Had an animal filled childhood. All things injured and maimed welcome. And there is NO better feeling than sucessfully nursing them to health and releasing them. They aren't meant to be incarcerated forever if they're healthy. They remember and pine. He's happy WQ. :rose: And you ROCK!:rose:

aaaaaaaaannnnd....

Gigantic squishy booby hugs go to bandit :rose:

Everybody sing.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR BANDIT... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

It's a great day!
My man has been offered an extra YEAR on his contract!
This is awesome news for us!
:D

Generally, we like you to introduce yourself, give us a bit of info, and tell us what you're about :)

Me: a bit kinky, bisexual, taken, 44, irreverent ;)

You?

Cool..

Ummmm, I'm here to find my feet. I'm married and have recently discovered I have been suppressing quite a bit, after wondering for years why my libido decreased to an almost non existent state. Hubby is happy for me to be here and learn and play, his attitude, it doesn't matter where you get your appetite from, as long as you eat at home. I'm trying to get him into the idea of feeding guests too. :p
Am I TMIing? I'm prone to that.
Otherwise, I am bi, 32, mother of 1. I love music and I love to be creative. I like to think I have a wicked sense of humour. :)

See how easily I got your info
But seriously.... what one learns in the aussies thread, stays in the thread :D

Sounds like you are finding yourself... what FUN!
*sigh* I remember those days....

And it sounds like you have a  hubby..... like mine, happy for you to get 'inspiration' in other places :D

What kind of cooking are you into?
I pick a new country every year on Jan 1, and spend the year learning to cook their cuisine.
I am a mad kitchen guru....

Hi MissMaidenMinx,

I've seen some of your posts and I agree. You're pretty funny.

I don't suppose you're from WA? I seem to be all alone over here.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BANDIT!!!!!!!

Hope you've had a stellar day and Gil has spoilt you rotten!! :rose::rose::rose:

Congratulations!

Um, does this mean you'll get another Jag?????? ;):)

Lol - no!
This means we can get enough together to buy another place.
I kinda want something a little closer to the water (we're 14km away here, which is not too bad, but I am an old salt and miss seeing the sea).
The idea is to be able to pay all - or close to all - outright, so there's no mortgage.

Love those squishy booby hugs! :rose:
I've been told that 54 is not old - I look and feel better than I have in years thanks to lots of love and workouts at the gym :D

Unfortunately Gil wasn't too well yesterday so I had a quiet day apart from some shopping at Aldi (their chocolate is the best!, I have stocked up for a month or so ) And I'm always spoilt with love

Welcome to you :) I originally came here to learn as well, a whole 10 years ago  and met my wonderful 2nd husband here too (Gil_T2).

Thanks for the lovely welcome guys. :)

WarriorQueen, I go through phases of what I will experiment with cooking wise. Right now I am going through a real baking stage, and my meals have become dull. I love just throwing ingredients together, my bolognaise sauce changes every time I do it. I can't remember the last interesting and new dinner I made, though hubby is thoroughly enjoying my attempts at perfecting a flourless chocolate cake, and is very much looking forward to his birthday white chocolate cheesecake next week. :)

Arianthe; Thank you. :) And no, I'm not in WA, sorry.

The missus bought a paperback

Saturday

I had a look into her bag

'Twas Fifty Shades of Grey.

Well I just left her to it

At ten I went to bed,

And one hour later she appeared -

The sight filled me with dread....

In her left hand she held a rope,

And in her right a whip!

She threw them down upon the floor

And then began to strip.

Well, fifty years or so ago
I might have had a peek,
But Doris hasn't weathered well,
She's eighty-four next week.
Watching Doris bump and grind
Could not have been much grimmer,
then things went from bad to worse
She toppled off her Zimmer
She struggled back upon her feet
A couple of minutes later,
She put her teeth back in and said
That I must dominate her!\
Now if you knew our Doris
You'd see just why I spluttered,
I'd spent two months in traction
From our last mad sex, I muttered.
She stood there nude, all naked like,
Bent forward just a bit...
So I thought - what the hell - stepped forward
And stood on her left tit!
Doris screamed, her teeth shot out,
My God, what had I done?
She moaned and groaned then shouted out
"Step on the other one!!"
Well readers, I can't tell no more
'Bout what occurred that day...
Suffice to stay, my jet black hair
Turned FIFTY SHADES OF GREY!!!!

I have the book. Was given it as a pressie.
But it is SO BADLY WRITTEN, I just can't bring myself to read very far in
And frankly, most of my reading is done on planes or in waiting rooms - and I'd be ashamed to be seen reading such a badly written book!

I agree! Schlock Sex badly written. There are some very talented writers that appear on here and would deserve to be in print before that story. It was very cleverly marketed and people fell for it.

I think even the marketing was awful. I believe that possibly it had more to do with people having low expectations.
And the smut, of course.

How are you this fine evening?
I've been fighting a migraine all day and am slightly drugged up at the moment. Mid-cycle migraine :( Bring on menopause!
