Can a woman of a certain age be hot?

Rose,

I know what you mean about fitting. Somehow my "C"s became D/DD although I haven't changed.

But no matter how they measure them, you look so fabulous!

It's nice to know that I'm not alone in my reaction, MrsCC. Thanks for the compliment. I think my breasts have survived age, gravity and three plus years nursing rather well.

SO vote: from the perspective of greed, desire and lust, all brassieres should be shredded, burned and otherwise banished to the furthest corner of the realm ... from the perspective of help, assistance, ease and comfort, there are arguments to be made and acceded to as deflating as that may be

I don't know if the male vote is unanimous, but it certainly seems that way to me. I trust that you do accept that in the business/professional world bras are mandatory for all but the most flat chested. Even then a bra may still be advisable if her nipples are overly sensitive. One other advantage of bras is that it helps men develop their manual dexterity. My photographer can still unsnap mine with a single hand.

quite correct on the manual dexterity front as well as one the professional / business side of things ... that said, the thought of declaring the office "clothing optional" has certainly crossed our minds!

Wow Rose, love the new pics. I don't know why some women are reluctant to shave their cunts (lol---I love your word but rarely use it. No particular reason I don't just don't for some reason), but once they do, they really seem to enjoy it.

I actually think some of the ones that are reluctant because they may think they look funny or different. Just my opinion though. I know you are secure enough that isn't a concern. Yes, I think it will be lots more pleasurable to both of you if/when you do go bald. I for one am looking forward to it.

My wife is usually slick and I alternate between slick and a patch well above my member so not to get in the way of any fun. :D Anyway, glad you are back and that you had a good time.

I am also glad I don't have to worry about you stopping your thread on here. Selfishly I enjoy it too much.

Thanks for sharing your insights and experiences. Stay tuned to my thread. You never know what I might agree to over the next few months. My photographer's first priority are my labia, probably leaving a generous patch above my prepuce. We'll see.

I'm happy to know that you're enjoying my thread.

Am I the only woman who's noticed that some (all?) brands have been playing around with how they size their bras lately?

It had been a while since I'd bought any new bras so last month I went on a bit of a shopping spree at the local stores here in "fly-over" country. For years I'd been wearing nothing but 34D's and haven't noticed any recent changes to my breasts. Nor had my eagle-eyed and nimble-fingered photographer, but those are stories for another time. The last time there was any noticeable change was after I'd stopped nursing and deflated a bit, not that 34D is exactly small. LOL

Anyway, the fitting experts at both of our leading department stores told me I need a 34DDD in bras from Wacoal and Chantelle. I mean triple D. I still can't believe it. For friends from across the pond that's a 34E in the UK and a 90F in France in case you were wondering. We spent part of our time away in Manhattan and I managed to squeeze in a visit to the specialty store where I've shopped for bras off and on for four decades. Same answer for those two brands. Funny thing is all my new bras feel exceptionally comfortable, not loose fitting at all.

In thinking about this I was reminded about what has happened to dress sizing over the decades. My photographer's younger sister can still comfortably fit into the dress she was married in 37 years ago. It was a size eight. Now she wears a size zero, sometimes a two. It's pretty well accepted that the manufacturers have done this on purpose to try to make us feel better about ourselves, specially as our average size has been increasing so dramatically in recent years. I guess that's also why Spanx has done spectacularly well.

I'd love to know what the women who follow my thread think.

To mollify the men in my audience who constitute the majority of those who follow my thread, I've also included some recent photos of my breasts. One is a full size version of my current profile photo which I've shared before. The next is a slight variation on the former and the last is a pose I've never shared before. If any of the males in my audience want to weigh in on this issue or make any other comments for that matter, please feel free to do so.

It may take quite a while, decades, if not centuries, on our side of the pond to achieve that level of freedom. Have you ever considered relocating to Europe? My impression is that things are much more relaxed over there about clothing optional opportunities. There was even an article in the NY Times a few weeks ago about a posh public garden that has clothing optional admission days.

been following the debate in San Francisco regarding casual public nudity - to date it is still permissible although the storm clouds have gathered ... things are perhaps a bit more relaxed in Canada where the courts have upheld disrobing for the most part although climate certainly comes into play (as it does along the bay as well) ... nudity is tolerated in this state but only in the more rural and remote regions (though on state property) while several of us here have not quite tongue in cheek proposed that the city beach (single point of access, commanding bluffs without homes) be opened to clothing optional recreation as it is deserted 98% of the time and there is a desperate need for visitors!

Thanks, kdb. "Perfect" is a Platonic ideal that exists only as an abstraction. Nothing in the real world is ever quite perfect. Still I appreciate your compliment and accept that my breasts are rather nice. Allowing for the effects of age, gravity and three plus years nursing they do come close enough to perfect for me.

Casual public nudity isn't quite the same thing as going without clothes at the office. Except for nudist camps and resorts I can think of few merchants, store owners, law firms, accountants, etc that would countenance their employees interacting with customers and clients in the altogether even if that's how the customers/clients dressed. Too much fear of offending the blue noses amongst their clienteles.

Mmmmm your so sexy! I wish I could het my hands alk over your sexy hit body!

After I'd decided on this title for my thread I realized that it could be misinterpreted by some. To be as clear as I can, I'm not referring to those occasions when I am experiencing my own personal summer. (Women over 45 will understand what I mean by that. LOL)

Until the last several years I was most reluctant to pose nude. Despite my photographer's repeated assurances I felt that my body wasn't hot enough for sexy or erotic photos. For photos from my 20's and 30's, I finally came to realize how right he was. In large measure that was due to the patience and understanding shown to me by a new, young g/f who helped me shed most of the negative body image my mom had instilled in me.

Some might disagree that I was hot when I was younger. Each according to his own taste, as the French put it. Here is a link to a scan of a Polaroid taken when I was 25, my very first nude. My initial scan was even poorer quality till my g/f used her considerable photo-editing skills to make it acceptable for sharing.

There follow links to scans of two 35mm slides taken in different sessions either side of my 30th birthday.

Based on these photos would you agree that I had a hot body when I was in my 20's and 30's? Honest opinions only, please. Thanks!

From time to time I may add other photos from my younger days in response to requests if, of course, there are any.

Some consider the phrase "woman of a certain age" demeaning to women. I've always felt quite the reverse and much prefer it to the over-used adjective "mature," let alone the kiss of death adjective "old." I feel just as vibrant and alive as I did in the photos I'm sharing here and infinitely more knowledgeable, albeit with a bit less energy and a few more aches and pains. A few might even challenge me as being beyond the upper age limit for correct use of the phrase. That's their problem.

I plan to address why I started my own thread and my expectations for it in a subsequent post.

I'll end by extending you a warm welcome to my thread and hope that you'll join me regularly.

rose,

love the pics! very well done and glad to see the contrast between the most recent pics and when you were 30. the beauty has not disappeared and has only become more enhanced. you are just a beautiful woman! love he chatter on your thread as well. regards, heath

I don't know if it's a blessing or a curse, Len, but all my naughty bits are still incredibly sensitive and respond instantly to gentleness. That's true even for my bum. So I'm glad to know that you can be gentle as well. No need for even for a simulated spanking. Gentle fingertips and lips always do the trick.

Rose

Gentle caresses, :p's &'s coming your way!

Thanks for the compliments, Len. It takes more time than I want to spend looking for a sexy bra since the choices are somewhat limited in my size. Or at least that's how I remember it from years ago. Comfort rules the day. For sexy, my photographer also prefers that I go braless, though he doesn't object that I like to wear a clingy tank or lace cami when I do. A whole day, really? I admire your stamina, Len.

Rose

My pleasure!
Maybe shopping would not be so tedious if your photographer went with you and helped "sort" through the limited selections! ;)
I wholeheartedly agree with him.
Yes Rose...a whole day worshiping your body would be a pleasure & honor. [The suckling would just be a starting point!] Stamina would never be an issue because every second with you would be like a vacation in paradise!
Have a great day, Rose!

Clothes sizes are just a reference...how you feel about yourself and if you like how the clothes fit is what's important. Your body is quite lovely not adorned with any clothes .

Thanks, Heath. I hope that what shows through is how comfortable I've finally become with my sexuality as I've aged. I think that it enhances an inner beauty that was too long repressed. Am I being too immodest to say such a thing?
