Tall girls all the rage?

I'm 5'1" so I wouldn't know from personal experience, but one of my very best friends is 6'1", and she gets whistled at wherever we go. She's a gorgeous Amazonian beauty and I'm very jealous

I usually go for the shorter girls all the time, 5'1 I think would be CUTE!!! My wife is short and wouldn't have it any other way!
Not saying I don't think tall girls are not for me, I see a lot of tall girls who are pretty also.

As far as I can tell...the attraction is the legs, and the fact that there's very little bending involved!

I am 5'11 as well. I love being tall. I don't mind wearing heels, even if it makes me taller than who I am with.

You sound stunning I'm 5' 10" and have no problem with taller ladies, as you say it's the legs, start at the floor and go all the way to heaven

I'm 6' and 5'9" is probably about the most perfect height for me. 5'8" is good too.

But then I've dated girls from 5'2" to 6'0" and loved them all.

I don't mind the heels making them taller either. Another reason I like tall girls is because they are a constant reminder to me to stand up straight.

I've always loved taller girls/women. I'm average 5'7 and have often had girlfriends taller, about 5'9 or 5'10 without their heels on. It was just an added bonus when they did have their heels on My gf is slightly taller than I am, 5'8/5'9 and I love when we go out that she is taller, but sometimes I have the opposite problem to you - she is conscious of the difference and does not like to look way taller than me. When I was 6'2" in college, I was s
intimidated by equally tall women. Now, I wonder at 6'7, how would I react to a woman my height. I love taller women, but then I love all heights. My problem comes, like yours, I'm too tall.

Girls my height, with the right heels, get that tall. My husband is 6'2
, but he seems to prefer that I wear lower heels so that I am not too tall when we go out.

I have never seen a girl that is too tall for me. I just cannot imagine one that would be too tall for my likes.

If a woman is taller than I, then that would be a problem for me. But it does help that I am 6'2".

If she is taller than me when wearing heels, well I can live with that.

I don't get the whole "I'm jealous because other guys are checking out my girl" thought process. I'd just head nod to the "offenders" letting them know that she's going home with me, and not them.

That is, of course, if I was ever in that situation.

I am pretty happy with my height now that I am older, when I was a teen, it was a little more uncomfortable. I did talk to my husband about it, he does like my legs, especially in heels. The reason it bothered him, wasn't that I was taller but of so much of my leg showing and him feeling jealousy of others seeing them.
Thank you guys for your replies, after talking to my Hubby, and reading everything here. I feel sort of extra sexy in my skin, and a whole new respect to the power of legs in heels ;-)

If a woman is taller than I, then that would be a problem for me. But it does help that I am 6'2".

If she is taller than me when wearing heels, well I can live with that.

5'9 is seen as tall but just tallish to me.
Tall, short, doesn't matter to me as much as her being comfortable in her own skin.
Long legs wrapped around my waste are always a good thing

I would never word it to him like that, lol, I do not want him to feel bad. I just think I am going to ask him why he doesn't like it, explain to him tall girls love shoes too, and that I like how I feel in them. If it really bothers him and he has a good reason, I would not want to hurt his feelings, but if its just because he would feel threatened by my being tall too, well that's just rubbish!!!

And long legs look so much better in heels.....just sayin'

Learned to love being tall

I am 5'11" and was always tall and in school I felt out of it because all the boys loved perky little girls and girls like me were supposed to play basketball or volleyball, which hurt because I am not very athletic. As I grew older and more self-assured I loved being tall like high fashion model, except the difference was I had a shape. I love heels and usually wear at least a 3" heel, but more often a 4"+ heel and my husband loved me being so noticeable.
