I'm better at reading and writing, although the writing is rusty. I usually google when I'm unsure about something. It's hard to learn to speak a language when one has few native speakers to speak it with.

An acquaintance who knew a Gaelic speaker said it sounded as if she was almost singing the language when she was speaking it.
My grandma spoke it as her native language... I was too young to remember any though.
