If Obama was your employee, would you fire him?

Fucking ghosts...

Do you know how many wars have begun by people driven into a panic?

I think you do.

Iran, Afghanistan...

Vietnam? Fucking hello???

European leaders take at least 78 days a year.

Only idiots believe that presidents are ever on vacation.

Only total morons like you want to count the days away from the white house as some sort of 'vacation'. No modern president, including Obama, has EVER had a vacation. It's a 24/7/365 job. Only slavish individuals, with an employee mind set, would be counting 'days of vacation.'

Get smaller dude, it seems to suit you.

ChinaBandit is an idiot.

So... are you avoiding me right now?

Because... I think we have unfinished business...

This might be hard for non-Americans to believe, but there are some things that you just can't settle without a gunfight.

Mostly I go to work anyway.
Gunfights are the way we Americans settle issues.

So... you'd rather go to work?

You don't want to get shot?

Everyone here gets shot. Alexander Hamilton got shot.

You think you're better than Hamilton?

I wish dueling would become back into legal fashion. I could settle my resentments or be shut the hell up.

Me, too.

Let's just dance.

There are so many questions that can't be solved in a lifetime, but one question can be solved in a moment.

And... there it is.

Imagine for the moment that Obama is not the President, but your employee. You assign him an important task, so important in fact that the life of the company is at stake. His deadline to complete the task is time t.

So time t finally approaches and the task is not complete. Instead of coming to his supervisor (you) early on to notify you of any issues and/or concerns that impeded his progress, he essentially said nothing but instead let you think the task was going to be complete by the deadline.

The damage to the company is done, but could be reversed.
a. Do you keep Obama on the task and provide more time?
b. Do you replace him with a different employee that has the skill set to complete such a task?
c. If not a/b, what do you do?

Keep him and fire those responsible for unprecedented filibuster abuse.

And... there it is.

You can dance if you want to
You can leave your friends behind
Cause if your friends don't dance
They are no friends of mine

Ummm. Sorry. Obscure reference.

You've never tried to fire a minority employee, have you?

You promote him to a position where he can do the least amount of damage and then ignore him and go on about your business. It's a helluva lot cheaper in the long run if you employ even decent legal help, for the government will be on his side; story of his life.

Firing a minority employee is easy if HR documents properly as they should do with any employee who isn't performing or doing bad stuff. Some may sue for discrimination where none exists but they won't have any kind of case. The burden of proof is still on the accuser.

One more area in which you are an indisputable expert...

Tell us about your experiences with minority hiring; we might all learn something.

We'd all love to be successful millionaire businessmen too! And you can teach us law and day trading while you're at it...

I said firing, not hiring. Pay attention.

When I was a social work supervisor we had to fire two African-American employees. I worked closely with HR and other administrators to meticulously document everything with the mindset of it being used as court evidence that would be attacked by attorneys.
