In the old days, a carpenter's first project on the job was a pair of sawhorses. You can tell a lot about the man by the sawhorses he builds.

I like it. I like it a lot.

It ain't perfect but it's not half bad. If you had any idea what I'd do for a fresh water shower after some of the ocean passages I've made.

This shows initiative, ingenuity and real problem solving skills.

haha, I want to make an ironworker version of that chart, with "call for a torch", " 6 ton comealong might do it". "get up on it with the rig" and "call the shop for a portapower" all coming before "measure the piece and check the drawing".

I wonder how many 6-bys you'd have to burn to heat all the steel in a 10 yard bucket full of water to bath temperature. It would take all day, seems to me.
