But not THINGS, you know.

I don't usually let my art bleed over but this Visual Artist's corner has been bugging me for a while and I've not posted much of anything. So here's a cover for a mini-comic I've been working on on the other side of the internet. I figure there's some people here who might appreciate a subtly sexy, dangerous heroine.

Very nice indeed, Noira. Nice colour contrast and lighting, great sensuality of form, perfect balance of mass and the ethereal...

Now, can you tell me in which Spanish-Moss-draped forest I might encounter such a subtly sexy deliciously dangerous heroine?

Glad you chose to "bleed".
I had hoped that the corner would eventually "bug" some people out of from under whatever they were hiding beneath.

I love this, nice use of colour. Would like to see the character evolve :)

very nice, very very.

specially the colors you used.

Thank you, colors are my favorite!

Nice work, do you start from a hand drawn base or draw live in software?
Usually these days I draw straight up from Photoshop, but for comics I usually start from a hand-drawn base. Anything detailed I find it's hard to get a good base for via tablet, because my hand cramps up, and I can never quite capture the flow of motion the same way digitally.

For stuff I can start with colored scuffs, like landscapes, it's all digital.

I'd say about 80% of the time I start digitally now? SOMEDAY I'll finish my tutorial...

Wow. As the others have said, really great work. I too really enjoy the colors you've used and how you've applied them.

I was never the best with colors/painting. I enjoy drawing, but most of my stuff always ends in just pencil...
