Especially if I'm resting my chin on my left hand and then it's just like numb, paralyzed, whatever.. And then I can't type.. But it wears off after a few minutes.

Your chin is clearly cutting off circulation to your pinky when you're leaning on your palm. I have the same thing happen when I lean against the armrest of my couch playing video games.
