I look up words associated with the thread concept, use their synonyms.
Or songs that seem to fit the thread theme, lines from them or simply their titles....

Orrrr Tell a cowriter that if I'm writing intro, they name the damn thread.

I've started finding lyrics or a quote of some kind that works for it, and then just using the title from there. Sometimes it even works!

I actually think this one ended up working out okay, if you use the right definition of the world.
