If you use Firefox, there's a greasemonkey script called Zass Full Ignore....it removes all posts completely by an ignored user, plus all posts where people quote the people you have on ignore.

Very helpful for the busybodys and bra_mans and koalapectates of the world, since nobody typically quotes them in teh first place.
