Please stop calling it your vagina...

Yes, I will check out your profile. Do you start threads; or do you only comment on them?? Bush did not have to work hard? So all priviledged people are an easy shoe-in for presidency??

I do not have basic threatre knowlege because originally I was studying music; and now have transgressed into acting and threatre. So you are correct. No matter how many perceived lies you try to catch me in; I always have a respons because the truth is the easiest thing. Do you ever win any arguements on here??

Molly

you still miss the point dumbass.. Bush had to start working when he ran for office... his getting a pass into a university had nothing to do with it... it still doesnt justify your complete lack of bsic theatrical history...hell, you shoulda heard of Ibsen in your first week... hell if you were going to Juliard to study Ibsen, you should have known about Ibsen already

it's not a perceived lie... you keep changing your story so as to appear somehow more worldly.. but each time you do, you merely show how little you know of the subject at hand

hell, you even tried claming that your hymen was intact despite all the "lesbian " sex you have.. as if somehow penetetration doesnt occur between women

you are such a dumbass

During my A levels, an absolutely wonderful maths teacher called Archie McDowell taught us to sing the trig identities. Seemed weird at the time but I still remember them in that sing song way.

Conjunction Junction, what's your function!

it works and My English professor used those songs to teach.

Of course I have heard of Shaekspeare, John Steinbeck, Percy B. Shelly, and others. But the best of all time is Dickens. Shaekspeare was a long winded ass hat that took 500 pages to say he was depressed.

Dicken's was great because in Great Expectations, Pip, does not win Estella in the end. Now that is a real ending. Sadly, he rewrote the ending to IMPLY that he does get her after they meet at the Havisham estate years later...

As a side note; what type of 'woman' starts a sentence with the word 'Hell?' As you did above. Only hicks in Southern states say that. Please tell me you're not one of those people from TX. I am picking up a scent here...

It was an exaggerated statement made in jest; as Shake was a long winded fucker. If you take everything literally, you will be confused by life. Now, what Southern HICK state do you hail from?? Do you have high-speed internet? Do you own a 'John Deer' tractor?? You are too chicken shit to say; because I sniffed you out...

bullshit.... it was a statement based from ignorance

you're one of those sad sacks who thinks all he wrote was Hamlet... completely discounting the comedies, the historical dramas, the poems and the sonnets

i have dropped hints all over this page where I'm from...hell, most people in this thread know where I'm from

don't get pissy at me because you're too stupid to figure it out

Shake wrote in a time before there was TV's and Ipads. He would not survive in today's literary world. People had nothing to do back then except to read. Do you see his books flying off the shelves in book stores?? Why is he not on the NY times best seller list?? That is undeniable. He is not; nor has he ever been... Put shake up against todays authors; and he loses...

Yeah, blobfuck told me. Canada. Where the age of consent is apparantly 16...and the drinking age is 18 or 19 depending on where the fuck you are up there. but I could be wrong... Molly.

Is it too early for ambien??

Clearly these two didn't eat their weetbix and sliced banana this morning.

They're fading at Ludicrous Speed!

are you saying that if someone his gift existed today he wouldnt be able to survive...

if he was born today he would be raised with our culture and thus able to survive like anyone else...

and do you realize his plays are still the most performed theatre in the world.. that his works have never stopped being best sellers?

if he was alive today he would be a billionaire

and put him up against today's authors and he would lose? seriously? many of today's authors owe their inspiration to him

you have no concept of theatre, no concept of literature past the Twillight novels, no understanding of history past last week, and no concept of how have sex with each other

you are a fraud on so many levels

I would take a wild guess that perhaps 40% of today's most successful authors have referenced Shakespeare either directly or obliquely in one or more of their scribbles. If you wish to criticize him, being on a best seller list is a poor manner to do so, he's been dead almost 500 years and he is still studied, read, and has more movie credits than Kevin Bacon.

yet it claims to be in the theatrical arts.

highly unlikely

This thread is dominated by:

a) a possible bisexual
b) a complete fake lesbian
c) two lesbians

I'm not sure if those things balance out to make it a successful thread.

Don't be dissing Kevin Bacon. I think he's a fantastic actor. His agent needs killing.

50 shades of grey is a retooled Twillight fanfiction... the critcs hate it,,, the reviews hate it

comparing a 2012 trend which is already fading to a collection of works that has been studied and performed for 400 years is not only insulting to apparently your craft ( theatre, you know, what you're allegedly studiying) but to all human beings everywhere

you do realize you're going to have to study him , right? odds are you'll even have to perform him

you are going to be laughed out of that school you're allegedly going to

Yes, we will have to study him. Today's authors do reference his name to add credibility and attention to themselves. But my point was, and is, that there was very little to do back then except read. And I feel he was a big fish in a small pond. Granted, I can not write like him; nor would I want to. And like I said students are forced to study him. So if they are familiar with Shake; as well as Harry Potter and 50 shades; why are they not asking for Shake at the bookstores?? Since every student MUST read and know him; why is this 'great literally classic' not selling? It is still in print; yet no students are buying it. Why?? Because it is boring. I am sure you do not read shake every night. On that note; I am going to watch a movie...

And to all you others sitting on the sidelines, watching and eating your popcorn, what's the deal?? Contribute or be gone...

Thnks,
Molly

forced?

since you allegedly live in new York you really should go see Shakespeare in the Park... I saw Pacino in Richard III years ago, and it was brilliant

he must have been forced to do it

just like Dame Judy Dench who was taught at RADA which makes Juliard look like a trucking school...she's only considered one of the greatest actresses of the last 100 years and she loves Shakespeare... but I guess it was only because she was forced to love it

and it is selling.. I dare you to walk into any bookstore, any theatrical supply store and not find Shakespeare... you see this is how capitalism works, if people want a product a business will sell it to them... and Shakespeare hasn't stopped selling for 400 years

and as for being a big fish in a small pond... he had many other popular contemparies in his time... Christopher Marlowe and Ben Johnson for examples... theatre was big back then because there wasnt television and everyone went to it.... just because you dont know something, doesnt make your opinion fact

I have seen many performances at Delacorte threatre. You missed my point. Shake is not selling like Potter and 50 shades. Nor will it ever. You prove my point about theatre being big back then because there was TV and all the stuff we have now. As far as opinions becoming facts. Not true. Harry Potter adn 50 shades are selling much more these days then Shake. FACT.

Please pay closer attention to my wording. In your hasty response, you miss a lot of very specific things I say.

Molly

I wonder how many people were even literate in Shakespeare's England... they were plays, performed for an audience

I am trying to train mine to come when called. It must be hard of hearing, though, because so far it only works if you get really, really close.
