I know some stores bring them in to try and attract business in horribly planned publicity attempts. I think they missed the giant memo of CLOWNS=BAD.

I kind of feel like, fear of clowns aside (though I don't really have one, actually), I don't want to eat somewhere that just has a clown there to begin with. If your food can't speak for itself, I'm already out.

I don't really have strong feelings one way or the other about clowns.
Though, my grandma did have these clown paintings, like 8x10 or whatever, hanging on her walls when I was growing up. In the bedroom I'd sleep in when I stayed there.
They even had noses that you could turn to wind them up, and it would play a song or something. So it was part in 3D, part not. And in the dark.. yeah, that was pretty fucked up.
But other than that...
