LT ~ Think we're due a West Wing marathon...it's been AGES since we last watched it.

FLT ~ That show was amazing!!

FFLT ~ Mmmm, chocolate cake :D

-Steals Brits plate. Then serves her the cake-

You are in a delicate condition. Need someone there to help you out.

Takes a community to raise a child and all that! :D

Oh I know that is gonna drive you nuts. -Hugs-

I... didn't really sleep yet. I'm expecting I'll be out cold shortly though.

Ha. Yeah. Driving me nuts...something like that. I have a job. That I'm not worried about. They like me too much to let me go. They wanted me *here* too much to lose me on an injury and technicality. But they just haven't figured out how they're gonna keep me yet.

And jeez...you should sleep!

I think I missed the entire first season when it was originally on, but watched most or all of the rest of it. But I haven't watched it since, and my political affiliation has changed, so I thought it'd be interesting to watch it in sort of a new light, having forgotten most of what happens.

I also missed the 9/11 episode when it originally aired, so it was interesting to watch that last night.

One of my favourite shows ever, never watched it when it was on TV in the UK though. Not particularly a political person, in anyway (nevermind it's US politics which my little brain does sometimes struggle with  ), but the storylines and the acting was brilliant!

Yeah, it really is a well done show. It stands up pretty well for the most part, too. There aren't enough well-done political dramas around, but Sorkin seems to have nailed it pretty well with The West Wing.

Knowing the point now when he leaves the show, it'll be interesting to see where and how it changes.

Also, it's kind of funny to watch characters just disappear from the show early on with no explanation for why they did.

Never saw west wing. I am currently rewatching Heroes though.

I know a lot of people that really liked the first season of Heroes and thought it went downhill from there, but.. I wasn't even really into the first season. By sometime in the third season I realized I was watching more out of habit than out of any desire to actually watch it and just... stopped.

There was definitely some potential there, though.

Season 1 and 4 were good.

Sylar is one of the best damn villains.

As good as The West Wing was... I've still not come across a show that's better than The Wire. Gritty as fuck, it's definitely an unflinching look at things, but even it's worst season is better than most show's best season.
