I have written a few non consent stories, rape stories to be honest and more accurate, which is what non consent means. I see your point, of course, you made it rather vividly.

Everyone gets so damned pissy when anything serious is discussed on the iAH anymore it is almost not worth it to comment.

There are two Threads on the GB, with some statistics and I did some researchl; most rapes are date rapes, most rapes are girls in their teens, most rapes are by someone the girl knows or knew before.

The word, 'seduction' is a curious concept; 'candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker', seduction by drugs or alcohol, depending on how it goes down(smiles) can be with continual protesting by the female, but not the the extent that she becomes violent in resisting.

I don't think it can reasonably be said that writing about something evil is inherently an evil act, and for that reason, I'm not sure I can have a productive conversation with you. (From past experience, once you get sufficiently worked up about something, there is no human way to convince you to reconsider not just your position, but any individual premise of your position, even while arguing that the position itself is sound.)

With that said, I do think writers have some obligations when writing, and one is to portray things, if not exactly as they are, at least with some eye towards reality. For this reason, it offends me that Literotica won't allow stories about rape to be tagged as "rape", insisting that they're "nonconsent". "Rape" is in most cases the appropriate term for what's being described in these stories, and anyone who can't handle that term has no business reading or writing about it.

(Incidentally, I suspect the actual rape fetishists here would be turned on by those pics you posted.)

Edit: To explain what I mean better, Literotica allows what's known as "soft rape" (victim is unwilling, but for one of several reasons, little physical injury is caused.) It generally disallows "hard rape" (victim is beaten and brutalized.) Both are, of course, rape, but Lit insists that soft rape be called "nonconsent".

Yep, that's pretty much been my reaction.

What else can you say? Rape is a terrible thing. People who really fantasize and get off on the idea of causing harm to other people have a few screws loose. I don't think most people who write non-con here are like that, and I know I haven't read much of it, but the little sample I've seen indicates that it's a lot of role-playing, or fantasy-fulfillment, and things like that.

I know I've said it before, but I also think much of this is "ravishment fantasy" as opposed to "rape fantasy," where the woman is so desired for her beauty or some other quality that the man can't help himself. At the base -- she wants him and wants him to want her to a extreme.

The few actual rapes I've read on Lit have actually been part of larger stories involving serial killers or something like that.

So, LC, if you think they are glorifying rape, despite it being fantasy, then you're entitled to your opinion. And others are entitled to the opinion that you are glorifying incest, which is also a crime (and in some places, age doesn't matter) despite your claim it's a fantasy.

I have two out. The first one, Wet is about hazing and it's consequences on a young lady and what happens afterwards. One person comment that it was a rape story, which told me he didn't read it all the way through. Actually, she kind of rapes him in the end.

The second i have up now and in my sigline. Blackmail is used but nothing is forced. Lucy ends up getting what she had always fantasized about. Everyone wins in the end.

I don't write rape but I have written N/C. I'm also not saying there is not rape in the category but I don't think there is as much as LC is trying to make out there is.

You can rant and rave about N/C Reluctant all you want but that won't change anything. If you feel a story there is rape then report it to Laural. At that point she can decide if she agrees with you. If she does then the story comes down, if not, then it is her site and her decision.
