Good stuff. I'm going to play as a male. Having a tough time actually making a handsome male. There's something really weird about the way they did lips in DA2 that's worse than DA1. I'm distracted by people talking in ways I wasn't. Leliana, Teagan, Zevran and Alastair look....wrong.
Hoping the male voice gets me through this runthrough which is going to be "make the worst response possible, sleep with everything" sorta thing. But if I can't even make someone fun to look at, that doesn't bode well.

Hmm, Bioware doesn't seem to encourage dwarf relationships though. At least not a dwarf npc. Cause you did have the option of being a dwarf in DA1..

I did play a female and male dwarf in DA1, so there was awkward Leliana and Awkward Zevran sex.
Can't say it worked for me. The height differential is not so much the issue as the weirdness they had to introduce into the animations to try to make it less awkward. I could really go for some dwarf on dwarf. Varric would work. Oghren...not so much.
My female dwarf did romance Alastair and then feed him to a dragon and become Paragon, she was my most evil. Fortunately now I have that save game where I did every possible bad thing I could do and still have companions by the end of the game. But it was the only time I could kill Shayle. I think she's my favorite character of all of them and having her mad at me is unbearable. By the sixth or seventh playthrough I'm ready to feed Alastair to a dragon, so that's not a problem. Once you start making non-noble choices he's just going to dog your every step and every time you turn around Alastair's there with "And another thing!"

Yea, and then Alastair dumps you and although you carry his butt the whole time, suddenly you aren't good enough.
That was the only play through were I killed myself cause I couldn't let him die.

Try some Grand daddy purple kush...amazing pain killer and it makes video games more entertaining, sex feel better, food taste better and it's far less dangerous/healthier than pills, booze or ciggs. Honestly if you don't have to pee in a cup to make a living IDK why you wouldn't. Anyhow I r playing Civ 5.....I just entered the atomic age and I'm curious to see if I can avoid a nuclear holocaust.

I'm 46 years old with kids. It's fun to run around doing that when you're young and have no responsibilities, but getting busted just isn't worth it, and I'd rather spend the extra money on other stuff.
Also, I'm on a lot of prescription stuff and I'm prone to interactions and resistant to most drugs to begin with. Makes me no fun, but oh well.
If it were legal, hell yeah. Since it isn't, I don't really want to take the risk.
I love Civ so much. Did replay it a lot a few months ago. A lot.

Just loading up her save game with the most vile things she did. Can't wait to see how the universe changes. Alastair won't be there, that's for sure.

If it makes you feel better I'm not certain there is a such thing as a male elf, just flat chested slightly masculine looking ones.

They made elves ridiculously....narrow...in DA2. They look like caricatures and Merrill looks flat out Anime.
Apparently elves suffer from incredibly poor nutrition and corseting.
The main character in DA2 can't play anything but a human, which is odd and kinda sad. Although I made kickass dwarves and elves previously, I think I can see why they won't let me try now. Eewww.

I got it in the wallet-emptying steam sale this year. If you like crawling through dungeons and wearing out your mouse buttons then it's a bargain! If you're a Diablo fan, or like RPGs, then it's definitely worth a go. Not much in the story department, though.
