Don't worry. This time you're spared. Once I stopped looking at it as a Mario movie and instead as it's own thing I find that movie quite enjoyable too. The first Mortal Kombat Movie is quite good and both Tomb Raiders are if not good, watchable.

Now if you admit to liking Street Fighter, Street Fighter the Legend of Chun Li or Mortal Kombat Annihilation I will be forced to send the T-Rex that shoots raptors when he roars.

My guilty pleasure is I actually enjoy Alone in the Dark. It's a bit cheesy sure but enjoyable.

Edit: And considering they were talking about the Rock doing Johhny back when he was a nobody I'm fairly certain that fell through, for a bout a minute they talked about John Cena picking up the role. I don't think either are a good fit though.

Didn't like either street fighter. The second mortal combat had its moments but was bad overall. Never watched the tomb raider movies. I heard there's a castlevania in the works. I can see it being really badass

Honestly what they need to do is stop insisting that live action is the only way to go. Give me a high budget Devil May Cry movie ideally based roughly around the story of 3 and I'm all over it.

I agree. Animation is best. "Advent Children" is by far my favorite.

I was never into the tomb raider games, but the reboot has me really excited.

It's not best for everything. Live action was a good call for Tomb Raider which is just Indiana Jones played by a hot chick. It would be a good call for Castlevania or Halo, possibly Metriod (though I doubt it) but some things just come across better animated. And we're finally after years and years digging our way out of the cartoons are for kids mantra and getting some stuff that if not teens adults can get into.

Spirits Within wasn't bad. It just wasn't Final Fantasy. At all. If they'd come up with a better title it would have been okay.

Not really. It kinda caught on a bit but anime still isn't mainstream. There is no fucking excuse for why Death Note wasn't and hasn't been picked up by a major network for a run. The major networks still view cartoons as either for kids or dirty humor.

Cartoon network pretty much stopped showing anime so many Americans ate gonna loose out. Don't know why we are so uptight. Especially with naughty words and nudity. Look at all the european countries and Japan.

Too many Christians we've failed to oust from power. It was a shame CN cut most of their anime. Naruto's pretty good and Shippuden is excellent but watching Shippuden on the Disney Channel is painful. The editting is so bad you want to make a spoof of the show and throw it on youtube. It'd be called "Do you have any fucking clue what's going on here?!

Husband and son played the hell out of it and had a great time with the force powers. Worth playing.
