That is me. I'll be tired all day, but once the sun goes down it's like waking from a good nap.

Exactly. Ive been that way since I was little little.

To this day I still get more done between 9pm and 11pm than I will ever get done 9am to 5m.

Same. Most of the time the last two hours of my work day are my most productive.

I've always been a night owl.

100%. And I could be in a good sleep pattern for weeks, up in the morning, in bed early, all that shit... and completely flip it in one night.

no... but definitely a creature of the dusk. crepuscular leaning towards the night is me. Much as the Snow Leopards I identify with so much.

Me too! All it takes is a night or two of insomnia and I get screwy.

It's not even actually insomnia with me. I just apparently like to sleep during the day and be awake at night. Despite the fact that I love the feel of an early morning. I've been that way for as long as I can remember. Really made school a struggle for me at times.

I'm not a very late sleeper most of the time I'm up by 8 even if I was up most of the night.

It's a little easier for me to not sleep crazy hours when I'm actually at home and have things to do. Here, with little to do... it's almost harder not to.

last 3 days slept 6 hours, then slept 14 straight. I get odd sleep batterns. just... couldnt shut my brain down. but 2 days hauling sheetrock let me sleep.

Ah-Ha! You're vampires, aren't you?

*snicker*
Yes.... waaannnaaaa watch me sparkle.... no really this shit from bath and bodyworks turns me into a frilly smellin disco ball.

YES! I... oi

I have to regulate my sleep patterns by when i get up in the morning because i can go to bed at whatever time and still not wake up till noon, 2.. 4pm.

I used to just run on a 36 hour schedule. Sleep 12 hours awake for 24. Did that for years.

That's completely understandable. I've always had weird sleep patterns. If I get six hours I'm good, but often times it's broken up. The nights I sleep straight through is awesome.

I'm always jealous of people that can run well on six hours. I need at least 8 or I feel like I'm dragging my ass around everywhere I go.

Until it's about 11 p.m. that is, and then I could probably run a marathon.

When I was growing up my mom used to get upset at me for being up so late. She'd tell me I was missing half the day because of the way I slept.

I just told her she was missing half the night.

Things just feel better at night. I feel more alert, more creative, I like going out more.. I often get the urge to cook late at night, too. Not like ramen or something, but like.. I want to poach things and roast things and sautee things.

Sleep is low on my list unless I'm sick or have been running around too much.

Sparkly vampires *eye roll* Someone should be shot for even coming up with that bloody idea.

I'm not either. No matter how late I am up the night before, I'm usually up by 7. 8 is sleeping in for me.

My LT~

Desk is clean and polished. Now to tackle the bed.

LOL

I swear, my mom was the best on the friggin plannet. I'd be up with my music blasting and doing shit. She'd open my door and tell me if I didnt turn the music down she would kill me, slowly.

But she was also a raging alcoholic so most of the time my night time activites were not monitored. She did however, let me sleep all afternoon, every day afterschool. She said it was better than me sleeping in school.

So yea...... I do understand the creativity and feeling better. i could be in bed all day sick as shit... sun sets and i'm ready to dig out the power tools or cook a 7 course meal for 40 people.

Around here, people are not shocked to find me doing all sorts of odd shit in the middle of the night. Though, the house has transformed into a house of artists. Someone is always doing something when they should be doing something else!

I do not think I could explain this better. It is why I loved a 4 to 1 am 4 day a week job.
