I am pretty good compartmentalizing. Rarely do I regret anything. My mistakes have made me who I am and I like me some me.....

I do often regret thinking some people here are capable of rational conversation.....

I don't think there's anything I'm ashamed of saying. Certainly things that could have been said more clearly or less flippantly.

There are a lot of things I've been ashamed to hear, though.

In combination they can make me less forthcoming in posting. I used to share a lot more about my family or life, and it twists around in weird ways.

Having LT refer to my daughter as "Nicklemouth" or call my son "retarded" is the sort of thing that makes me a bit more cautious in what I share.

I don't post pictures any more because of Lancecastor using my kids' picture as his Avatar.

I'm not ashamed of my family or life, and I still share more than most. It's just that it can get twisted up into people trying to get to you through what matters to you, and the less opening I leave for that, the better.
