to what degree are you ruled by your hormones?

Very little. I don't usually let them get the better of me unless the end result promises to be reaallly good.

Good question Dolfette.

I'm certain that we all are to a greater extent that anyone of us would admit to. However, not having been born a woman at least I'm not on a perpetual roller coaster ride.

Living with a woman is to take that ride as well. At least you can get used to, well not used to but aware of, the peaks and valleys. You know when to keep your peace.

Menopause is a whole different ball game. When she can go from loving woman to bitch in 3 sec. flat. Everyday becomes an adventure in the possibility of becoming blind sided. It's like tip-toeing through a minefield.

I'm not ruled by my hormones unless we are talking about sexual relations. And even then I've been so well behaved it is crazy.

I am ruled by emotion though.

to what degree are your emotions influenced by your hormones?

So much more so than I'd like to admit. Sexually and emotionally.

Not as much as they used to be, I went in to menopause at 25 so the highs and lows of the monthly cycle no longer affect me. I'm not certain that a lack of sex is the same thing as a hormonal imbalance but if I'm not in a steady relationship my mind won't always focus and I'm pretty cranky.

That being said, I have a blood issue that affects my emotions more than anything. I'm probably not an ideal representation of anything for this study.

whether it's our bodies' reaction to sex or the hormones in the splooge, i have noticed the medicinal benefits of regular splooge intake... much as i'm loathe to admit that. regular doses make me calmer, happier, more stable and less anxious. it seems to prevent the worst effects of my own hormone cycle, or at least reduce them.

...which is why i've mostly been a nutcase for the last ten years :)

My hormones and conscience are having a fight at this moment! Waiting to see who will win!:confused:

My hormones do not allow me to fly a woman across the Atlantic only to not be able to perform.

Isn't funny that my son, independently, has come to the same conclusion about you as I have?

You have nothing to contribute to the human race, and never will.

I own businesses and create jobs.

Why do I doubt that?

And that has fuck all to do with hormones. You, and others, jumped in for no other reason than to 'dog pile' on the rabbit. That's it. Same old mantra, nothing new from you or the others.

You're far too negative to be creating jobs, or running a business.

Hell, you can't even post on topic.
