i was watching pirates of the caribbean-on stranger tides last night. in all the movies you hear sexual innuendoes and that got me to thinking. i'm a history buff and retain some weird info.
for the longest time europeans were forbidden to bathe. it was considered a sin because you expose too much skin. (except in nordic nations where saunas were a part of society and religion)you were bathed twice in life. once at birth and once after death. in between you intentionally only washed your hands, face , and feet. unintentionally, when it rained or falling into water. after europeans came into contact with other peoples worldwide they began to realize that bathing on a daily basis was not a bad thing. but still, for the longest time bathed on an irregular basis.
you know, sex for europeans had to been one nasty assed affair. rotting, stinking cum inside a woman from the last time she fucked, or left over menses clinging to her pubic hair. bodies stinking to high heaven. teeth rotting out of their heads from early on from horrible dental practices and food choices. almost everyone was diseased or recovering from a disease.
and they called "native americans" savages and uncivilized? at least the people bathed on a daily basis, even if it was 0 degrees F. jeez..............
