...TSA now deployed at Oceanside Transit Center just north of San Diego.

...the agency itself is expanding, with Congress recently giving the green light for extra funding that has increased the number of unannounced TSA checkpoints beyond the 9300 that took place last year.

This $25 million dollar injection has helped fund the expansion of the VIPR program which has TSA agents patrolling highways, train stations, bus terminals and other transport hubs.

As a whistleblower recently revealed to Infowars, more TSA workers are also being used in airports at locations besides security lanes.

“We’re doing patrols in the parking lot with dogs, we’re even going as far out to the train station because the train station is connected to the airport here and we have guys walking around the train station, walking around the rental cars, we’re inspecting cars coming into the parking garage, I mean we’ve fully expanded – we’re no longer just at the gate and just at the security checkpoint,” said the whistleblower, a TSA supervisor.

US Military and Local Police Working Together on American Streets

The US military is being used to protect civilian events, like the 2012 Democratic and Republican Party National Conventions in Tampa, Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina.

USNORTHCOM and Leon Panetta, US Secretary of Defense, has readily admitted that US armed forces will collaborate with local law enforcement “if called upon”.

In fact, more than 20,000 troops were brought home and readied for deployment within the US to assist in “civil unrest and crowd control”.

The US military will prop up the US Secret Service “for operational security reasons we do not discuss the numbers of military personnel and resources that are involved. Additionally, we do not share our operational plans,” said U.S. Navy Lt. Cdr. William G. Lewis.

The extent of use of military forces on civilian matters, as reported by mainstream media (MSM) have included the reallocation of hundreds of military police officers being trained to “assist local authorities” in investigation, crime scene and case building.

An estimate 500 military police and dogs will be used as “law enforcement battalions”. These soldiers, having served on tours in Afghanistan, will now be activated and based out of military bases across America to help local police forces.

National Guard has been witnessed in Virginia conducting “wellness checks” and patrolling residential neighborhoods as well as downtown city areas.
In Southern California, the TSA have been caught patrolling train stations and bus terminals.

The US Congress has given over $25 million in more funding to support unannounced TSA checkpoints.

According to one whistleblower : “We’re doing patrols in the parking lot with dogs, we’re even going as far out to the train station because the train station is connected to the airport here and we have guys walking around the train station, walking around the rental cars, we’re inspecting cars coming into the parking garage, I mean we’ve fully expanded – we’re no longer just at the gate and just at the security checkpoint.”

Remember: your government has already told you that the main battlefield of the infamous war on terror now occupies the US...

...what they didn't tell you is that their enemy is you.

And, just imagine...

...if they admit to this overt activity, ponder how much covert and Special Force activity is actually going on.

Not wanting to alarm you but the Marine Corps has always had MP companies, so I don't know what the purpose of these units are but ...you want to worry about something worry about these people in your neighborhood under a rogue President:

Marine Corps creates law enforcement battalions

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. — The Marine Corps has created its first law enforcement battalions — a lean, specialized force of military police officers that it hopes can quickly deploy worldwide to help investigate crimes from terrorism to drug trafficking and train fledgling security forces in allied nations.

The Corps activated three such battalions last month. Each is made up of roughly 500 military police officers and dozens of dogs. The Marine Corps has had police battalions off and on since World War II but they were primarily focused on providing security, such as accompanying fuel convoys or guarding generals on visits to dangerous areas, said Maj. Jan Durham, commander of the 1st Law Enforcement Battalion at Camp Pendleton.

The idea behind the law enforcement battalions is to consolidate the military police and capitalize on their investigative skills and police training, he said. The new additions come as every branch in the military is trying to show its flexibility and resourcefulness amid defense cuts.

Marines have been increasingly taking on the role of a street cop along with their combat duties over the past decade in Iraq and Afghanistan, where they have been in charge of training both countries' security forces. Those skills now can be used as a permanent part of the Marine Corps, Durham said.

The war on terror has also taught troops the importance of learning how to gather intelligence, secure evidence and assist local authorities in building cases to take down criminal networks. Troops have gotten better at combing raid sites for clues to help them track insurgents.

They also have changed their approach, realizing that marching into towns to show force alienates communities. Instead, they are being taught to fan out with interpreters to strike up conversations with truck drivers, money exchangers, cellphone sellers and others. The rapport building can net valuable information that could even alert troops about potential attacks.

But no group of Marines is better at that kind of work than the Corps' military police, who graduate from academies just like civilian cops, Durham said. He said the image of military police patrolling base to ticket Marines for speeding or drinking has limited their use in the Corps. He hopes the creation of the battalions will change that, although analysts say only the future will tell whether the move is more than just a rebranding of what already existed within the Corps.

The battalions will be capable of helping control civil disturbances, handling detainees, carrying out forensic work, and using biometrics to identify suspects. Durham said they could assist local authorities in allied countries in securing crime scenes and building cases so criminals end up behind bars and not back out on the streets because of mistakes

I always thought that NCIS was the law enforcement arm of the Navy/Marine Corp?

Yes, civilian law enforcement in the United States is being militarized and federalized at a disturbing pace.

No longer can local/county/state law enforcement defy the draconian orders of the federal government or operate independently.

Many honest to god police officers who are still true to their oaths to serve and protect citizens and NOT be a terrifying paramilitary spy arm of the federal government to be exploited for purposes of political repression in our increasingly oppressive militarized police state.

It has been revealed by various insiders that the oppressive and Orwellian Transportation Security Administration plans on expanding their presence far outside of airports and into train stations, bus terminals, highways and interstates; and ultimately into sporting arenas, shopping malls, movie theaters, grocery stores, schools and colleges, hotels, retail stores, office buildings, hospitals, and nearly every single facet of daily life.

Evidently crude government encroachment on our rights and privacy will become a daily encounter.

Because of the dubious and fraudulent "war on terrorism," the United States federal government has officially declared war on the American people. Now everyone is seen as being a potential terrorist whom is guilty until proven innocent. America went from being the envy of the world, to being a decrepit banana republic where citizens are prisoners in their own communities, are constantly surveilled, harassed, threatened, searched, questioned, and intimidated.

People who lawfully exercise their free speech rights and make simple and innocuous political statements that run counter to government policy are sometimes branded enemies of the state and placed on the terrorist watch list, which now includes roughly over 1,500,000 people.

With each passing day, America is beginning to resemble that of old East-Germany and the Soviet bloc countries of the cold war. Police officers no longer look like noble public servants, but rather like fully combat-equipped soldiers headed off to war in Iraq.

We are no longer the world's shining example of freedom and prosperity, but rather of what happens whenever complete control of an entire government is handed over to private industry and corporate special interests.
