Will the EU finally show enough cojones to put Hezbollah on their terrorist list?

The United States has held Iran's Hezbollah as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) since 1997...

...Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman is in Brussels tomorrow for the annual EU-Israel Association meeting, during which he will lobby the EU to list Iran's Hezbollah as terrorists, using the deadly terrorist attack in Bulgaria and the foiled terrorist attack in Cyprus - both EU countries - as impetus. The EU has declined previously to list Hezbollah as such.

Hezbollah is Shia Iran's foreign military/political tool...

...just as Hamas is a Sunni Muslim Brotherhood's military/political tool.

Here's what Israeli PM Binyamin Netanyahu has asserted about the recent, deadly terror attack in Bulgaria targeting Israelis, and the similar terror attack in play in Cyprus before it was foiled:

"I know, based on absolutely rock solid intelligence, this is Hezbollah, and this is something Iran knows about very, very well," he said. Netanyahu added that Israel knows, without "a shred of doubt," that the operation was carried out "with the encouragement, at the behest and coordination of Iran."

What is the point?

Hezbollah is effectively a government. The EU and other countries have to deal with whoever is in effective control of the country.

The US has dealt with many 'terrorist' organisations in the past, arming them, supporting them, or just negotiating with them.
