If you are going to try to make a fantasy come true for wife, make sure you are both on the same page. This is a real article from CNN dated 6:19 PM EDT, Wed July 18, 2012.

Titled: Man arrested for posting ad seeking rapist for wife
A 32-year-old man from Twin Falls, Idaho, has been charged with solicitation of rape and burglary after posting an advertisement on Craigslist seeking a man to enter his home and rape his wife, according to a Twin Falls County Court affidavit.

The husband admitted to having sent e-mails to Michael Combs asking that he rape his wife, according to the arrest warrant.

The ad was posted in the "Casual Encounters" section of the website and was headlined simply, "Want to help me," Twin Falls Police Officer Justin Dimond said in the warrant.

Combs told police that he responded to the person who posted the ad, who said his wife "wanted to be forcibly raped as that was a fantasy of hers" and urged him "not to stop no matter how much she resisted," according to the arrest warrant.

Police responded Saturday to a distress call from the house; when they arrived, they found the woman holding Combs at gunpoint and arrested him, according to the warrant.

She had been in the house alone while her husband was returning from Mountain Home, about 85 miles away, where he works for the National Guard, she told police.

Saturday's incident marked the second time in two days that police were called to the house. On Friday, the woman had struggled with another man who, she told police, told her that he was "there for her," according to the arrest warrant.

That man fled after pulling the gun out of the woman's hand, the warrant says.

After the second incident, police examined the husband's cell phone and discovered e-mails, nude photos of the body of a woman and photographs of a man's penis that matched photographs in Combs' e-mail, the warrant says.

The man who fled has not been identified and remains at large, police said.

The husband was being held on $100,000 bond, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for this month; he had not yet been assigned a public defender, police said. CNN was unable to reach Combs or either the husband and wife.

CNN is not identifying the couple out of concern for the wife's safety.

Giving it a bump....... I think it is important that everyone read this.

This is why it is communication is so important when sharing a fantasy with someone. Unless there is a clear understanding between all of the people involved as to how far the fantasy is to be carried, things can go terribly wrong. This poor guy is going to go to prison, and possibly lose everything he has, just because he tried give his wife what she wanted.

Your wife may forgive you for making a mistake, but the judge won't be so forgiving.

If you read the whole article, it turned out she was armed. The would be fantasy rapist could have ended up dead.

I'd say rape fantasy and rape reality is like the difference between crying over the ending of "Romeo and Juliet" and really taking poison. I think a lot of women who may fantasize about the submissiveness and helplessness of rape would also be ready to castrate the person who really carried it out. Be careful what you wish for or what you think somebody else wishes for. True rape is an ugly, violent, and terrible act against women (or men for that matter). I don't think I'd want to take a shower in prison.

This poor guy is going to go to prison...

Who are we supposed to feel sorry for in this situation? The delusional husband who arranged for a a stranger to break in, rape his wife and not to stop no matter how much she resisted? Or the guy who answered a craigslist ad and agreed to rape a woman based on 3rd party consent? If justice is served they will both be put in prison along with the other would be rapist who fled the home in the first attempt.

...just because he tried give his wife what she wanted.

I think it's pretty obvious that an actual rape was not what she wanted or else she wouldn't have pulled a gun.

Exactly.

You’re not supposed to feel sorry for anyone. This is fetish and Sexuality Central, and I posted this here to make the point how important communication is when sharing fantasies with your spouse. When a couple don’t have a clear understanding of how far each want the fantasy to go, things can go horribly wrong.

Yes, there is a big difference between rape fantasy and rape reality. When the would-be rapist broke into the woman’s home, she could have thought he might kill her, (not knowing he was sent by her husband), and believed she was defending her life. The point is not whether this couple should or should not have wanted to take their fantasy rape into real time, (which some couples do have that fantasy), the point is the importance of communication.

I agree that communication is key between couples, especially those that engage in behaviors that have higher degrees of risk.

However, the following statement is clearly very sympathetic towards the husband:

This poor guy is going to go to prison, and possibly lose everything he has, just because he tried give his wife what she wanted.

I have no sympathy for anyone who would think setting this up without his wife's knowledge and consent would be a good idea. And stating that the "poor guy" was merely trying to give his wife what she wanted is ludicrous. It is clearly NOT what she wanted.

Have you personally interviewed any of the people involved in this situation in Idaho? Or perhaps you have read the police report and know all of the facts? You don’t know any more than anyone else does, so if you’re going to be disruptive, don’t post in my thread. The thread is about importance of communication between couples, not about your opinion.

Welcome to Literotica. You don't own any thread here. Laurel and Manu do. Being a "public" (to any person over the age of eighteen, and if legal in their home jurisdiction) bulletin board that is privately owned (which means anyone here does have to adhere to their rules), anyone with "permission", per se, to be here is allowed to post what they want as long as they do not break rules.

The thread is about importance of communication between couples, not about your opinion.

The thread is about anything anyone at Lit ends out making it about. Even knitting socks. You have as much control here, on this thread, as you have control in Judge Judy's courtroom.

Enjoy! :)

You are right, I don’t own Lit, and neither do you: so what business is it of your as to what I do or don’t do? I didn't invite you into my thread, and if you don't like what I post: leave!

Silly man! You didn't even read a word of what I posted. :) You don't own this thread. (FYI, I didn't say squat about "who owns Lit". ;) )

Have a wonderful day!

Well JasonDaniel, making friends, I see.

To answer your question, no, I didn't interview anyone involved in the case, nor did have access to the police reports. Did you? From the news brief you seemed to be able to surmise that this was something that the wife wanted and that this poor guy may go to prison and lose everything for just trying to give his wife what she wanted. Please tell me how you were able to arrive at this conclusion.

I do not belive that I have broken any of the rules of the forum user agreement, if you do, please feel free to report me to your nearest moderator. Until such time, I will post in any thread that pleases me.

BTW - its 'Marcap', not Macap'. Say what you want, but please spell my name correctly. Have a great evening.

Which leaves me to ask, if she had a gun how/why can anyone assume it's what she wanted??! Several women here at Lit have discussed rape fantasies, why they can be a turn on, why (in most cases) it can never happen and/or is an oxymoron, etc. It's a very intricate web that is woven and has many "parts" to it, as it were.

Don't worry. You didn't.

I drew the same conclusion. Regardless of whatever fantasies she may or may not have discussed with her husband, her reaction (drawing a gun on her attacker and holding him at gunpoint until the police arrived) clearly indicates to me that she was not interested in this scenario in real life.

It appears that if you and I were to stop posting in this thread DarkPleasures, it would just go away, and that may be best. Have a great night.
