Imagine if movies, TV, and most recorded music just up and vanished, never to return.

The average person is so completely psychologically / mentally addicted to mass electronically distributed fictional entertainment, my guess is we would see massive numbers of suicides in the hundreds of thousands, and serious psychosocial disfunction among tens of millions.

As I am 99% free from dependence on mainstream pop culture and entertainment, I would be well prepared to prosper in such a world, but what would the rest of you mentally enchained entertainment addicts do? How would you cope if your Godless Hollywood worship cult was suddenly denied you?
