Yes there needs to be an occasion. I don't go out at all these days anymore. And wearing CFMs to work would be a little.... Hmmm scandalous? Hmmm must be a better word to describe this....

I already get comments about my work heels. And they're only three inches high. Okay. Maybe 3.5... I can't even imagine the uproar if I walked in with say... 5 inch heels or something of that sort

And you have to remember most of her co workers are Old men, and nerds to boot. Us nerds have weak hearts. Especially for pretty girls. So many'd break I'd hear it up here in Alberta.

I wasn't thinking of them as work wear, VT. Wear them at home and use them to entice a certain someone. Or put them on, and drag him out somewhere.

No shoes in the house. I live in the middle of no where. Beautiful cool california weather. But no where to go. At least not without driving a good 40 minutes away to find civilization.

And yes. Not only do I work with old men, and nerds, the standard "dress code" is board shorts and tee shirts. Even the general manager wanders the premise in flip flops and shorts, like he's ready to take off to the beach. Other than the secretaries, I'm the best dressed engineer in house most days.

And that's with me being too lazy to iron my dress shirts.
 
I am wanting to write and enjoying the silence of my house, as everyone else is in bed asleep.

I am thinking long thoughts and debating turning the tv back on for company.

I am missing my brain...

Throwing all my shit on the floor. Not a temper tantrum, though I think I want that too, but realized I had 5 seconds before button and just kinda "AAAAAAH! FUCK!" flailyhands.

I can't imagine spending ten days with my former mother-in-law. An afternoon was all I could tolerate, but that lady has serious issues.
