How do you guys come up with good picture ideas?

I've only recently started posting and it can take me a while to come up with something that I think will look good and be different from pictures I've taken before. I've got a couple ideas at the moment (waiting for a good time to put on a suit without tricky questions from my family) but I don't want the well to run dry.

How do you guys decide what to post?

Also is this a good opportunity to ask if my avatar is a bit tacky?

I think it helps if you are artistic, which I'm not!
