Clip from the Iran Contra hearings where colonel Oliver North is questioned about a continuity of government "CoG" program he worked on which suspends the United States constitution and bill of rights in the event of a major disaster or national emergency.

This CoG program is known as "REX84" or readiness exercise 1984.

REX84 was replaced by a much more sweeping and aggressive CoG program that was devised by the Bush administration shortly after 9/11 by which the constitution and bill of rights are never reinstated and congress is never reconstituted.

In fact, an entirely new constitution and bill of rights are drafted to replace the old one, and it is an exact reversal of what it is currently.

Control of the entire government is handed over to military commanders as well as the president.

Yes, the president can declare martial law, suspend the constitution, put troops and tanks on the streets.

Political activists, outspoken journalists, critics of the government, militia members, war veterans, etc.. are going to be rounded up and sent to the detention camps run by FEMA/DHS.

Torture and executions are going to take place at these facilities.

The current prison population of ordinary criminals will remain in state and federal penitentiaries, the FEMA prisons are specifically for political prisoners and anyone whom the government deems an enemy.

sorry mike, but it's all bullshit. i was in the military for 8 years, and if the guvmint gave orders to begin putting americans into concentration camps or outright murdering innocent citizens, we'd turn our weapons on the guvmint itself. also, i know plenty of soldiers, and they'd do the same thing now. the average soldier is more informed than you think. the guvmint KNOWS that the military can and will turn their apache helicopters and A-10 jets on DC in a heartbeat.
