Obamacare: 83% of docs considered quitting

Weapons Grade Stupid

Whether you believe the study or not seems to be ideological, few here rely on facts when they are presented. That said, there are many who are now making choices of careers, and the best and brightest have many options open to them. And many are opting not to go into medicine to start with, leaving either the needed numbers of new entrants unfilled, or filled by the somewhat less qualified to take those spots bypassed by those who've now said 'no thanks' to a system choked with regulation and government intervention.

^^^sheer conjecture and wishful thinking. Derp.

Try posting this again in Mensa grade English; I found it difficult to follow as written, perhaps because I am not a Mensa member but also possibly because it reads as if written by a moron.

Are trying to say that despite the fact that the OP article and survey have been thoroughly debunked as junk science and total rubbish that we should somehow take heed of its dire warning that the medical profession is suddenly going to experience severe shortages of doctors which will be filled by foreign quacks whose qualifications are at best dubious and at worst nonexistent and that all of this is due to the passage and USSC upholding of the so-called affordable health care bill?

This space advertises itself to be a means of improving communication skills. While that's entirely a factually untrue claim, I'd think you would at least feign academic capacity sufficient to keep up!

I apologise for the Stygian depths of my intellect detracting from the blinding brightness of yours. It is truly a pleasure to learn (such as one of my capacity can) from one so gifted in insight, depth of knowledge and thought.

Cite for any of that, please? (The poll in the OP is not one.)

Which is why I remain humble in his presence, secure in the knowledge that in no way am I qualified to post as his intellectual equal. It is my fervent hope that he posts often; his political acumen and overall world knowledge are a fresh and well received addition to a board largely populated by high school dropouts and wikipedia educated professors of everything.

As long as you know your place. I'm sure if you get uppity he'll put you right.

Changing the words of others is a long disrespected practice of fools and liars. You changed my post, to attempt to attribute to me words I neither uttered nor implied. It is a key reason to cease communication, as the mutual respect required for conversation is killed in the process. As such, our conversation is over...

Next time you drip sarcasm, warn us. Man, I had to get out the hipwaders and umbrella!!!

Yeah, but at least I didn’t read your pm’s, I need 10 000 posts for that.

Do they really let you own a gun?

Woof!

You're getting as bad as vet.
I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone here is disputing the facts of the study results, that 580 doctors (0.06% of all doctors in the US) surveyed say they've considered quitting because of the ACA.
What they are saying is that a completely bogus conclusion (that 83% of all doctors in the US have considered quitting) was drawn from it because of the survey methodology and that anyone who believes the conclusions is a dumbass.

I has nothing to do with ideology. It has everything to do with a person's ability to understand what makes a valid survey.
It also has a lot to do with common sense.

I has nothing to do with ideology. It has everything to do with a person's ability to understand ....

There are those moments in my life where I wish I could simply choke the living shit out of those who try to piss away their intelligence by saying something stupid, such as 'it has everything to do with a person's ability to understand'. I think as the blood supply to their brain slowly ebbed, their own understanding that they just fucked up may increase immeasurably.

You're a fucking ideologically suffocated parrot... deal with it!

You've just shown you're as big a dumbass as vet by not being able to understand the difference between good, or representative, sampling and poor sampling (what was done for the survey). And even worse, not understanding how utterly erroneous the conclusions are.

Well done. Have fun choking the living shit out of yourself for pissing away your intelligence.

 And that is stupid why?

Because he can't understand it, which he's proven, he takes it as an insult. Even though I wasn't even talking about him. At least not at first. It's now obvious he's in the group who can't understand it.

Lest we forget the manner in which this 'law' was achieved, and now we have a President who picks and chooses which laws to enforce....

Doesn't take a lot of understanding to know organized crime in action.....

Well?

Look stupid, I didn't defend the veracity of the survey or the story,

Coward. Do you believe it has any veracity? (I’m not expecting an answer.)

I attacked Badwoofer for insisting the survey was false without evidence to back it up.

THIS IS AN OUTRIGHT BALD BAREFACED LIE!

Quote the post where I said that, do it now or prove yourself to be a liar without any personal integrity or honour.

Then you showed up like the lame cowardly alt you are and stuck your nose into it trying to make it all about me. Sneak the fuck off clown.

Oh but you made it about you. There is little alternative when the proof is right in front of your face than to point out your errors; errors that 12 yo studying elementary statistics wouldn’t make.

Don’t take it personally; treat it as an opportunity to learn. Though how you’ve manage to get through 60 odd years without learning basic stuff like this is beyond me. Your behaviour here and on other threads indicates that you are incapable of learning a damn thing.

Woof!

What does "current changes in the medical system" refer to if it isn't Obama care, YOU DISSEMBLING DINGLE BERRY?

Yes because without Obamacare the medical system wouldn't be changing.

The medical system has been changing for decades... Decades prior to Obamacare. There are books written about it. You'll just have to believe me on this one. But you wont.

A friend of mine just left a prestigious position at a major Children's hospital in Ohio because they gave him 12-minute time slots to see kids dealing with mental illnesses. And it has nothing to do with Obamacare at all.

Average, that isn't even the major reason the survey is bogus. Read the survey - it doesn't poll or even mention the ACA or Obamacare at all.

Saying otherwise is a flat lie.
