Obama Care, How Will Be Judged On Thursday?

Who will go nuttier? The left if it is overturned, or the right if it's upheld?
Either way, I can't wait for the lunacy!

Judging from the Arizona "Papers Please" ruling this week, which essentially gutted any enforcement of the law, the Reich wing will immediately start braying "I told you so!!" and declare victory if the law is not 100% upheld.

Oh thank God the derp fairy came in and sprinkled some of that sweet sweet sanity around. I was starting to run low.

Must have had his hand busy on Ken's cock when he started the thread, hence the typo.

If the US Supreme Court knocks out the Forced Lactation portion of ObamaCare the cries of "judicial activism" will be warranted.

The Court is not a legislative body.
Compelled lactation is necessary and equitable.

So, about when is it supposed to happen? I wanna keep a safe distance to this board so I don't get derp all over my brand new shirt.

Judging from the Arizona "Papers Please" ruling this week,
That silly attempt to portray law enforcement officers asking for ID as Nazis cracks me the fuck up. There's no "papers, please," anymore, it's "can you show me some identification?"

We're beyond "papers." — Now, it's a plastic card with a magnetic strip that has all sorts of information about you on it that you lack the ability to even read.

Hitler would have drooled over the system we have now.

My prediction, as it has been for years, is that the Individual Mandate will be held to be unconstitutional, by a 5-4 vote.

It ought to be a 9-0 vote, really.

The Constitution is dead; the Court is part of the Federal Government and the Scribe Class (Hoffer, The Ordeal of Change) and they are going to vote to uphold their privileges, their power, their legacy and their social status, 6-3 constitutional (as viewed by a cynical reader of history in light of the Arizona ruling against state sovereignty in favor of Federal Power and consolidation).

I would be shocked and perhaps pleasantly surprised if it were to go any other way.

;) ;)

I've got money on a 6-3 against the mandate and only the mandate.
Not the best of odds, but a nice return.

A hundred dollars says it goes my way.

No worries, because if I lose the bet I lose a lot more than a hundred dollars, anyway.

Deal? You have until 10am EDT.
