Stand your ground laws are not a hunting license... I vote for this guy being a dumbass. If he had been defending himself, I say blow the fuckers away, but you can't just seek and destroy... as much as it would remedy a lot of problems.

I think Zimmerman was probably being a macho fucking dumbass, but then 'Trayvon' became a bigger dumbass and started a fight, in which he tried to kill Zimmerman by smashing his head on a sidewalk. In that case, even if Zimmerman provoked the initial shitstorm, so long as he didn't initiate contact, and was defending himself from being killed, he has a defense. The attempts to hide the funds he's been given for his defense again show him to be fundamentally a dumbass, but not a murdering dumbass.

True, but getting your ass kicked is a fistfight, someone trying to kill yoou is them slamming your head into a sidewalk repeatedly. Martin raised the stakes to the point that Zimmerman could use lethal force in kind.
