VW Passat wagon. I had a 2006....heaps of room (not that I trialled it - but it had a shit load of room.....even a VW zip up ski thingamybob)

I've got a 2005 Passat. We still love the damned thing even if it only gets 38mpg now that it's got 150k miles on it.

I hear you. This was the BEST car I have ever owned....it was the 4wd 3.2 litre...pretty much similar to the Audi A6 wagon I am told. Heated seats, headlights that went around the corner with you!! and so much more, I miss that car.....
