Yasser Lopez, 16 of Miami, was admitted to the emergency room after a spear gun launched a 3-foot spear into the area directly above his right eye. According to Lopez's friend, the gun accidentally discharged while they were preparing to go fishing.

He is recovering in a Miami hospital.
